Channel 1

the problem is after all these steps program wont accept keygen serial (error28) so it cant generate xml file

With my daw locked with firewall, it accepted the serial on vst3.

I don't have any of this....installed as expected, ultra high quality mode is at 5% at most and mostly around 4%. My system is not bad but nothing spectacular either so you should check your OS and settings (win10 here, 48khz bufferv128), something's weird

Wot you mean? '50% more' is not 50%. Normal uses ~ 4%, Ultra ~ 6 - 7% (same settings on outdated CPU), all good, but still more.
The crackling also happens with the modern cab, channel three, pretty high gain and Tube 67 mic. It's not very loud but audible.

Hello Olly! No, it's not the same, there are a couple of errors in the installer, it doesn't say that you have to block with windows firewall in the .exe
In fact, the program does not install the shortcut to the desktop, and you have to look for it in C:\Program Files\Bogren Digital\MLC Subzero 100 and make a shortcut to the desktop.
On the other hand, the file generated by the Keygen goes to another path as well, C:\ProgramData\Bogren Digital\MLC Subzero 100
Which makes it confusing, when looking for the xml file
It worked for me, also doing the process with the internet disconnected, it was quite tedious, and I had to do it several times, and keep in mind that it is better to do it in standalone, because if your daw is not blocked by firewall, neither it could and will fail. This message is to support Vikram a bit, but it is not easy, and I still need to try it in other DAWs, I only tried it in Studio One 6, the latest version, and in Windows 10 x64 updated everything to date.


Edit: it doesn't work anymore! I opened it in Pro Tools 12.5, it asked me for authorization... I opened it in standalone, and in Estudio One where it did work, and it was also deauthorized, I don't know what to do anymore, I'm sorry.

Edit2 : You have to block all DAWs with firewalls so they don't get unauthorized, and start the process again, you can save the keygen step if you save the serial in a notepad, and then drag the file that generates the keygen, remember that it sends it to another directory, not where the program is installed... Too much for today for this piece, I hope I have contributed a little, see you :)

I tried again using the standalone with internet blocked.
Still give error 15 when putting the serial, so no way to import a license.

EDIT, I tried with the vst3 file and the serial worked.

But now , I have no clue about how to put the response file in the plugin.

Activation dialog still exists.
Drag and drop "ActivationResponse.xml" to the dialog.

That's how it worked here. The 'click Close' step is a bit strange but it blindly followed it and it worked.

I cant drag and drop, because Reaper with in Admin rights
I cant use reaper's file explorar to do it, as this file is not an Audio
I took off admin rights for Reaper, and it freezed

So, I'm done. Too much effort for an amp which I'm not sure it will deliver.
Also, I think the problem would have been the same with legit version, given the protection scheme. Another dev, that put security before his clients...

Te voy a contestar en Español porque creo que te vi alguna que otra vez respondiendo en mi idioma, ya que mis traducciones a veces son como el culo
Si sos guitarrista el plugin te va a gustar, la verdad que tiene bastante potencial al nivel de Neural Dsp, si sos musico general y no especificamente guitarrista, podes dejarlo de lado.
Para mi en el Amplitube y Guitar rig, se puede hacer todo lo que uno necesita, solo que como guitarrista entusiasta debes estar arriba horas y moldear el sonido a tu gusto, me animo a decir que son los mejores, nada mas que estos programas nuevos, vienen con facilidad de presets ya bastante armados para tocar y grabar etc.
Estaria bueno Oly en la pagina implementar algun sistema de puntuacion del software, porque mucha gente que no pueda tener conocimientos de informatica, puede llegar a hacer desastres en sus computadoras, mira sin ir mas lejos, el Aurora DSP Mr Hector, en el proceso de instalacion y desinstalacion, te borra el archivo host de windows! Y coasas asi se evitarian, por ejemplo de 50 personas que descargan le funciona a 10 personas, entonces hay algo que anda mal, y de paso se evitaria tantos comentarios, y el hecho de decidir si descargar o no, que quede como Verificado, dudoso, o no verificado por ejemplo una idea....Porque con las manitos para arriba o abajo, luego no se puede cambiar y no sabemos si andan jejeje bueno compañero, saludos y cuidate!

Los sistemas de rating nunca funcionan porque la gente los usan para cualquier cosa menos para lo que son. La mayoría los usan en plan Fakebook... Lo dejamos alli, y si quieres seguimos por PM

Strange because I'm doing everything with Admin rights here. But maybe there's a difference in this regards between WiN7 and 10.

Yes there is a difference between win 10 and win 7. It seems that Win 10 is considering the explorer as non admin, even if I'm logged as admin. It's not the first time that I have this problem.
I cant drag and drop wav files either when Reaper is in admin mode.

It is interesting that a few people had problems with the installation. In the case of a previous Bogren plugin (R2R), it didn't accept the serial at first but after I modified the hosts file according to the R2R instructions, it worked. I didn't have to change anything other than that. There was no problem with MLC either. Both standalone and vst3 have been working since yesterday's install. (Cubase, Win10) As for keygens, it is worth configuring the real time protection of the antivirus before unpacking & using the specific keygen.

Yes, obviously the first thing is to make sure that the standalone or the vst3 is blocked from the internet while using the serial and the response file.

For me the problem is simple, I can't drag and drop the response file on the plugin, because my daw needs admin rights. That's crazy, but I'm certainly not the only one with this problem, so I cant imagine the situation for those who bought the plugin...

Luckily, thanks to R2R we can try before we buy.

Why don't you authorize it with the standalone plugin? You don't need a DAW for that and you can open it in the DAW too after the authorization.

Modify the hosts file according to R2R.txt, don't block the Internet and authorize it with the standalone plugin. Hosts file: if you are not experienced, google for it, very simple. (If you are not allowed to save the modified hosts file, copy it to the desktop, modify it, save it and then copy it to the original location.)

Standalone give me error 15 when entering the serial, no way to go beyond that phase. Even with all internet locked.

I'm glad you solved the authorization. :) (Note: it is enough to block the addresses specified in the R2R.txt in the hosts file, the Internet does not need to be locked. Without modifying the hosts file, even the first step of the authorization - serial - results an error. I only tried standalone authorization because R2R recommended it.)

I authorized using standalone.
Keep an eye on where the files go for key auth (program data)
I use notepad plus to edit hosts file. It opens it by default now and I just add and save but...
sometimes you have to restart your computer to load new entries.

OK Guys, so, thank you all for your help.

I finally found the solution:
To drag and drop the final ActivationResponse.xml I started a different explorer as admin.
It's an old good explorer called Explorer plus.
So I could finalize the authorization process.

Again, if I had pay for this, I would be really pissed off.

Thanks to all crackers to let us know before we buy, which developers use useless (as demonstrated here) but heavy for client protection.

So, after all your help, I owe you a test report.
The amp sim is doing what it is supposed to do. But not much more.
The "clean" presets are OK, some are not really clean.
The distorted presets are better, but not super.
Loading IRs works well and it really bring different tones.
Only 2 pedals, some kind of boost and a distortion. Again, working but nothing special.

Conclusion, nothing I cant do with my Hotone Ampero 1.

I allways compare every audioz ampsim reléase to My kemper and axe fx, at this time neural dsp and neural amp modeler passed that test

Kemper: it is currently only available in the recent beta OS version but the new liquid profiling is great. I wouldn't buy a Kemper today because there are many competitors now but I'm glad I still have it because the product support is fantastic more than 10 years after it was released.

I think Neural DSP is no longer dominant but I also measure the other plugins against it. NAM is a bit hit or miss, it can sound fantastic and bad too but it will keep getting better and better.

I think the future will be full AI here too, when based on your DI track (pick attack, tuning, strings, pickup) you get ~95% of the tone that can be heard in the target song which is scary, because one of the most important elements of a guitarist's sound (rhythm) is the pick attack&strength, the rest is already available to others.

This is top for me right now. Seems to be the best sounding so far compared to all other amp sims. Guitars sounds huge, fuller, balanced and cut through the mix without a lot of tweaking.
