This release removes the plugins telemetry without needing the user to do anything.
It's completely different from the user needing to apply tricks and tools in Windows to block the telemetry.

Plain text analytics? That's terrible LOL
As for people saying these plugins are overrated, to each their own. Personally I think most tube compressors sound "sluggish" whilst pulsar Mu sounds quite snappy with the right settings. Abyss is also just a really cool concept, although not entirely original since there's lots of "hybrid" compressor designs.

I am talking about my 30 years of experience in the studio. These plugins are among the best I've used. I also have UAD 2, exactly 102 plugins. These additions are not behind UAD. I use Win 11 legal version and Cubase 12 also legal version

I found some diff on low ends compared to uad2 and some punchy maybe is related to source material but nothing to calling them highly overrated, is anyway a personal opinion as the TF guy said, I just report mine with 29 years of experience too.

A bit of info about Pulsar with pics.

a) Analytics
There is no MAGICAL and UNIVERSAL script that eliminates telemetry.
Don't rely on hucksters who don't even know how to intercept and analyze network traffic.
Pulsar plugins send their analytics to 'pulsar.audio' host using the http protocol.
You can block 'pulsar.audio' via 'hosts file' (and also lose access to the website)
You can block your daw's internet access (and lose functionality).
You can easily patch plugin files so that they do not send telemetry (hint: search for 'http://pulsar.audio/analytics/upload/')

In either case, an 'analytics.json' file is created and grows.

We have solved the problem from the core: Completely disabling the creation of analytics files.
(After unpacking/decrypting/restoring the original plugin code scrambled by iLok Wrapper and disabling the iLok license check)
Now you can choose...

An example of telemetry submission ('analytics' contains many sensitive data)


b) Aliasing and inharmonics
If you like the sound: use it.

However, if you are curious ....

I ran a test exactly like you did using 7kHz sine wave and return with the same result as yours and I noticed those aliasing that get past through -100db but it only happens at extreme Gain Reduction level, around 28-29db+ GR and at maximum input/output volume with zero headroom left. The plugin failed there, a higher OS rate should solve it but it's an unlikely situation one would've face in real life mixing so the dev didn't include the option. It's nice to know though.

Sometimes it's better to hold onto those older versions. Just because something is a little older, if it worls well, there's really no need to update it (unless your'e absolutely gasping for some latest new feature or otherwise forced to by conditions beyond your control)

Weird stuff, massive needs legacy open GL. But the rest does not and kontakt 7 is fine too. dx tool reports DX feature vers 11.1. but it is an old gfx card. But pulsar massive is now working😆😆😆

wow ty very much for this teamfuck!!! ive installed the pulsar plugins offered before from R2R or RET (on 2 diff laptops) but was never able to open the plugin's gui windows without crashes. i could still use the plugins via the generic ui sliders in ableton/reaper but couldn't access the guis. but yours are working 100%! and they installed more or less portable which is amazing for my uses (installed via sandboxed, just moved the vst dlls and dependacy files over to a diff pc and voila).

these plugins certainly loook good although for only 5 of them, they take up over 1gig in the program data folder which is just a bit crazy. i think even arturia takes up less (compared to 5 of their effects). so some serious graphics bloating with these! that with the aliasing stuff mentioned, i think i might not be able to justify keeping these around after all. maybe just echorec one as it has some fun unique sound design and saturation coloration abilities. although it takes up like 500megs for just one plugin which is crazy. and i think it may be just as good as the audiority's plexi one or audiothing reels ones. and for the remaining 4 pulsars, i feel like fuse audio labs plugins (and the neold/phyl cascade ones that usually come with the team vr bundles) covers the dynamics/eq bases just as good if not better than these pulsar ones with far far less of a file space boat on poor my ssds lol.

so yeah going to keep these on a plugin archive hd for when i can afford the time/money to replace my laptops w 4+tb ssds
