Guys it says to copy Content folder to programdata/steinberg . The same says for the Content install ( Steinberg Content ) to programdata/steinberg but the other steinberg products ( padshop etc ) have their Content folder to user/appdata/roaming/steinberg !
who the fk writes the text files ???? Where have you installed them ?
Also followed instructions but Ableton 11 cant see vst3 ( win 10 ) . I have installed without problems Padshop and Retrologue . Any walkthrough ?

Downloaded 3 times from different links(2 links from katfile.com and 1 from rapidgator.net). Giving data error FCP_SMT_800_Backbone_MP.vstsound, when unzipping.

I am on Win10. My C12 is locking this one, I have the CER and Silk, uninstalled and reinstalled several times, even the C12 but is still blocking it, any advice guys? Thanx!

Working under Win 11 here.

Here are the following steps which where diffrent for me.

1.Install TEAM R2R Root Certificate: (For me the Certificate was installed but in the wrong place search for R2RCA in the (CertManager/Usercertificates) and drag it over to Trusted Rootcertificates) (This made the R2R Activation work)

2.Now Copy the "Content" folder to "C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\" (In my Case there was no Steinberg Folder at this place create it and copy over the Content Folder). (This made the Content Files show up)

New Step which was not in the R2R Text File: (This made the GUI work)
After that Copy FCP_SMT_800_Backbone_MP.vstsound from the Content Folder of the Steinberg.Backbone.v1.5.0-R2R Release to
C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\Content\VST Sound

For info, 1.5 needs AVX cpu crashes otherwise. 100% sure. 1.6 fixes this half, no more crashes but gungang drum synthesis does not work. On an AVX cpu all working. So basically core2quads don't work and 2 gen i7 etc do.
