That's exactly wha I think. There's a lot much bigger and modern EW Play libs but R2R wants us to give something light to prove it works.

Also, I don't know how Play libs work vs Kontakt. Meaning if they must be also cr*cked some way, who can supply, and so on

R2R has given gifts to us for many many years!
R2R has been extremely generous last year:
With Softube, SSL, etc.
I think, that was the peak.
Anything from R2R will be great, the point is, that just nothing compares with getting a bunch of new and good plugins.

Of course they did and we are very grateful to them for all the nice gifts they provided us over the years.

The problem with the East West releases, is that they created a huge hype some months ago when they announced they cracked them, and that for each UVI expansion made available, they will release one East West library, which it didn't happen.

Then, after a while, the hype got even bigger because Christmas and New Years Eve was coming, and people got for now just these 2 vintage retro GIGA releases which no one will ever use, and the old Play 6 player. The more these GIGA releases will be uploaded, the more frustrations you will see in the comments.

In my opinion it was cooler if R2R started releasing the important East West libraries from December 1st, and ended on 31st with the Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition, the huge one.

If tomorrow another GIGA release is uploaded, you will see people's reactions, and the more these retro libraries will be made available, one per day, the frustration will only increase.

But once again, R2R are the kings of cracking, and is their right to release what they want and when they want.

I am just wondering what AudioUTOPIA has been doing lately...

Time to break out the dinosaur and take a ride into town. This stuff was garbage when it was originally put out 15 years ago. LOL
