The GUI is laggy, the sound is nothing special compared to those big companies.
Come here just to try the software and buy it afterwards.
If I don't like the software I will just DELETE it.

If you talk about "plugin", maybe those 2 companies better than yamaha, but if you talk about "company", i think yamaha is far bigger compared to those 2.

You must remember that Yamaha released some of the first affordable and less affordable digital mixers in the late 90s, so they have a long experience with audio DSP. I'm talking DM1000 and 01V mixers. Great stuff, especially considering when they were released.

I'm really bothered with these needing eLicenser, so they're not worth it IMHO due to stupid protection, but thank you so much anyway!

They have made plugins for a long time mostly bundled with daws

They're not bad plugs. I've used them before but for some reason over the past few years it breaks the ilok plugins when i install that e-licenser or something. No disrespect but it's not worth the trade up..

I was also wondering how does this compare to Softube and Co and if it's really worth 200 bucks but according to the other comments here, I will probably pass.

I'm really liking the 276 compressor. It adds weight to the source. Haven't tried the others yet. Just wish vst2 was included so I could use them in Harrison mixbus.

The Yamaha plugins are all derived from the Yamaha Motif synthesizers. They are good algos of course and worth to check out.

The Neve Portico plugins are newer developments, made specifically as plugins using their latest VSM algorithms and I would be totally requesting them but since it's forbidden and Olymoon would be angry about me which would make me sad I totally do not request these plugins which are really really good because I demoed them a while back ^.^

yamaha ag06. stupid amount of inputs/outputs. stupidly overpriced but you get a 9.977ms vst lag with the yamaha usb driver plus all the above plugs for free - seamlessly hard wired into the interface. so many inputs... there you go

Did anyone else missing the vst2 dll? I can only see the vst3 files.
