I don't wanna sound like a whinny bitch but, honestly for alignment and stuff, Vocalign is easier and Revoice Pro is superior and so it's learning curve is a bit steep and all.

So, it would be really great, if R2R releases Vocalign as well.

the older audioutopia version works fine but this one keeps saying revoicepro isn't open in PT... i got this one to work with ara2 in studio one but since a majority of my work is in pt i have to go back to 3.1.1.3

hey, doesnt work with pro tools 12.5.

Show " error - Revoice pro is not running".


How can i solve it ?

Man, i was really excited to use this but the software is really clunky to use. Not very intuitive at all, feels a bit barebones. There's no way to "discover" how to use it just by throwing yourself at it and figuring it out, you have to watch videos or read the manual, cos some functions are behind other functions that i would've had no idea existed unless i looked it up.

The actual algorithms under the hood are great, probably the best in the biz, but the interface feels half-baked. I guess they put their interface work into Vocal Align.

On top of that, it crashed when i tried to save my session and ReVoice told me it now can't find the audio files and that they're missing, so i lost like 3 hours of work and i'm on a deadline. Maybe newer versions would be less buggy than this one but it's hard to trust it now after this.

No problem. I should note i was able to recover the session. When i reloaded my DAW session it was all there, so i guess the Revoice session must save with the DAW session automatically through ARA (it was the Revoice session i tried to save and it failed). So that's good.

Interface is still clunky though. From the videos i've seen it looks like the combo of VocalAlign and Repitch would be a smoother workflow. The interfaces on those look much more intuitive and streamlined. Revoice probably has more probabilities (like being able to align multiple vocals at once + create new doubles) but it's a headache
