Dodgy company they release under 3 names all from same source just different GUI .. They started off with good intentions but quickly resorted to a shallow greedy outlook. Do some research it’s easy to find out who they are.

The happy tuna plugins.

Some information about him is that he was a developer at Acustica Audio first.
Then AO and a third one, cant remember the name, but i do remember it had the world analog in it, if not mistaken, someone posted the ownership info on GS or KVR, cant remember.

If I'm not wrong, I know that there was a relationship between plugin alliance and black roaster because a main coder of PA was the same as BR.
But I don't remember anything about Analog Obsession...

I believe that you can say, without any hesitation, which companies they are. Why is it so mysterious, men ?

if you refer to Acustica Audio then I can say that it has nothing to do with AO, although Ridvan worked for them for a short period of his life (5 years). But...
Wait wait.. Did he work in AA before his AO project? Could he have copied some code? of course, maybe! Could have done a GUI- to- Code with Splice. Sure. He claims to be an expert, but he can't implement a code for a meter that really works. There's a lot of ambiguity in what he claims to be. Are its plugins (and related bugs) the result of this ambiguity? Think how much gold there is in AA, if, only by subtracting a small part of their engineering, can you get a plugin to sound better than a Plugin Alliance BAX.

I think That AZ is the right place, as a community, where to share tests, judgments, impressions, perplexity, and where to also clarify the goodness of the audio software. There is a lot of speculation today in the marketing of audio softwares, today much more than yesterday, I have more than twenty years of experience in the industry so I feel like saying it with a lot of certainty. Today we tend to scan, badly, the hard work done 20 -15 years ago. There are very few genuine and original authentic developers, and they count on the fingers of one hand, maybe two at most. I believe that there is nothing wrong if we can, for example, guide a musician or a technician, whether it is a professional or an amateur, to make more aware use of the instruments, whether they are free or paid, providing adequate information, which is based on even just on our modest impression of use. I was thinking so...

Rather than make subjective judgements on the GUI, let's focus on what is important.
1)They're free. Thank you to the uploader and cracker.
2)They work (On Windows 8.1 Cakewalk Bandlab at least).
3)They sound good and add a nice character even on minimal settings.
4)Oh and did I mention they're free.
5)Thank you.

they are not free, check the web site, they cost money.
at least pretend you understand how this works.

He means they are free to us. So try, use or delete. Simple.
  Resident 18.03.2013 738

I mean they're free on here. At least pretend you know that you are on a website that enables you to download cracked (AND FREE) programs.

relax a little mate, it's nasty to read your comments, none of us is to blame for whatever happens to you.

So.. They aren't free, cliquid, not free.
Although you can find all the free software you want, it's never free. For it to come here on AZ for example, there is work, and time. passion and dedication, there are some people who make it 'free'. You can try without paying, sure, but you can't say it's free. Free from what? money?

Free in terms of money to "us" obviously. They are also free from alcohol, sugar, MSG, bananas and hamsters. Have a nice day.

I don't care how polished GUI's are but when I visit the website, as a potential buyer, I'd like some company info including how they emulate their plugins. I don't find the following description fills me with confidence.
Re-drawing and designing original circuit carefully and emulated original fingerprint of gear with our technology. Carefully designed transformers and tubes.
We can't dance, we don't talk much, we just ball and play, then we move like tigers on vaseline

I had the same feeling when visiting their website. They might make some decent or maybe even good sounding plugins but as far as business side of things is concerned this company does not look trustworthy to me. They don't even have an imprint, a cookie notice or any notice about data privacy. And that's a problem for me: giving somebody money, if I don't even know who he is and where he is located.
  Resident 5.09.2012 729

Fun Fact: they have a free Compressor/Limiter called YALA (Yet Another Limiting Amplifier)

And on there there are 2 Knobs on the left labeld, "ATTEN" and "VOLUME" above. Guess what: they are mislabeled!

If you turn the ATTEN Knob you actually controll the VOLUME and vice versa. Real Pro shit
  Resident 7.04.2014 147

That's not a mistake and is logical for the use. Didn't make yourself look to bright there.
  Resident 5.09.2012 729

What's logical about "Volume" controlling the compression as in "Atten(uation)", while "Atten" actual controls the output level?

Your time to shine. Impress me.

quote by grdh20xgmanAre there any presets for these plugins?

Perhaps it is ok and appreciated to have presets for synths to check out quickly what's under the hood, but for effects I believe really not so. A distortion plugin will distort so dial in your need, a compressor depends on the level coming in so a preset might not work on a low or a high level signal. Experiment and try not to follow in Von Steyr's large footsteps and come close to blowing up your speakers.
Music is always a commentary on society.

Tunca also works in JRV Audio. Their free Remonster and all paid plugins look like Analog Obsession GUIs. And sound same. A lot of forummates on gearslutz thought it is another Analog Obsession project. So... On gearslutz JRV audio also confirmed that Tunca is one of the developer of JRV audio.
