Bark of Dog 2 is a new and improved version of the plugin that started it all. Now with 3 different modes, it’s even better than before.


When 2 dogs love each other…

more dogs just seem to come out of nowhere. And that’s what Bark of Dog 2 is. Now with 2 different modes (and a “combo” mode) you have more options on ways to clean up your low end. Classic mode continues the legacy of version 1. The original Bark of Dog became a staple plugin in studios around the world for a good reason. It’s easy to use and it works. In version 2, you get the same controls, but they are a little more intuitive.
New Passive Mode

The passive mode is almost the complete opposite from Classic mode. In fact, it is designed to work like a the simultaneous boost and attenuation of a famous passive EQ. Essentially, it lets you boost your low end without getting muddy. It’s an awesome trick, and Bark of Dog 2 makes it so you can do it with one simple knob turn.
Combo Mode

This third mode is actually just the first two modes put together. Really what it does is lets you boost the low end like you would in passive mode, but cuts out some of the super low stuff so you don’t blow your speakers. It basically lets you push it harder than you would normally be able to. I thought it was a nice touch, so I put it in.

What are you talking about? It's not uncrackable for R2R. The crack is absolutely and utterly sound. The problem is based on USER ERROR and having conflicting usernames between the cracked incarnations you installed and the real deal. R2R warns of this problem in the how to. It's not R2R's fault that people don't bother reading. It's not R2R's fault that-that is how the protection they had to beat works, and beat that protection they did.

And let's be clear, this plugin is not "super special UAD-2 technology for free". You either ignored the first paragraphs on that comment or are willingly misrepresenting it to make your case. Bark of Dog 1 is an objective, mathematically exact EQ- Just like you ALREADY HAVE in your DAW as your stock EQ- Or you can get for free from 100 different devs. Same thing as Voice of God- Nothing special by any means. In Bark of Dog 2, they have added a passive and combo algorithm that are not like your stock EQ, to be clear.

The INITIAL release of Bark of Dog had no copy protection to speak of, and that's what I was speaking to. Factual events. You can still get that version online, without any protection, and it's literally a 100 percent copy of Voice of God. Again, version 2 adds more than Voice of God offers.

Do I agree with adding copy protection to this version, version 2? I personally wouldn't do it, but I believe in liberty. Boz should be allowed to do as they please so long as they do not impede on the right of another to do as they please. It turns out that they want people to have an account and sign up for their email list in order to have this for free, and if people think that's a fair bargain, people will accept the agreement.

No I get you R4pToR, r2r was the first team that I found out in this cracking community, because their releases were always so consistent, they had my respect and admiration. Never will I insult those who volunteer their time and effort for my musical benefits.

But nothing I wanted more than Serato Sample. I remember being amazed at this new VST that would save me so much time since I was on the MPC 24/7 and never seen a VST like it. Crazy how things are linked. Searching for that somehow led me to this community. The forum and discussion. Even though the VST came way later. My first download was an R2R release and I was gonna dissappear forever.

But I noticed the discussions were lively and although I rarely use anything I stick around and read on new releases and learn how different product works. I really enjoy creations by forum members like Miklan skin releases.

LOL sorry for going off tangent but I appreciate audio.z a lot and releases by team like R2R and C. E. V. R. Yall really are a lively group for a forum such as these. Glad to be apart of it. Got some plans of my own for audio.z in the future so hold on tight!
