Klanghelm SDRR 2 saturation chameleon v2.0.0 WiN-OSX RETAiL-SYNTHiC4TE screenshot
SYNTHiC4TE | June 19 2017 | 40.3 MB
SDRR was built to satisfy almost all of your saturation desires. It provides a comprehensive set of controls to manipulate the character of the saturation to make it fit exactly. SDRR offers four different main modes: TUBE, DIGI, FUZZ, DESK and reacts dynamically to the input signal. Each mode has its unique crosstalk behavior, which can be switched off or exaggerated. A unique RMS level difference metering mode makes level matching an easy task. SDRR can be different things: a saturation, a compressor, an EQ, a bit-crusher, a subtle stereo widener, or simply add some movement to your tracks with the DRIFT control. Add warmth, depth and character to your tracks with SDRR.

Don't forget to check out the free IVGI, which can be seen as the little brother of SDRR. It is based on the DESK mode in SDRR. Since IVGI is comparable to SDRR quality-wise, CPU-consumption wise and regarding aliasing (or better the absence of aliasing artifacts), it's a good way to also get an impression of how SDRR would perform on your system. SDRR is available in the following formats (all included in one single license):

Windows: VST (32&64Bit), AAX Native for ProTools® 11 or higher

Mac OSX: AU (32&64Bit), VST (32&64Bit), AAX Native for ProTools® 11 or higher

06/16/17 version 2.0.0
- initial release
- changes compared to SDRR 1:
- new plugin-ID, so you can use SDRR 2 and SDRR 1 at the same time
- switched to JUCE-framework
- new GUIs
- GUI-resizing
- reworked VU meter, uses the engine of VUMT 2 now
- Automatic Gain Compensation option, similar to the one used in MJUC
- critically revisited all modes
- reworked dynamics section of TUBE, DIGI and FUZZ modes to be less quirky
- in DESK mode the TRANSIENTS control now works more obvious and and similar to a traditional transient shaper
- redesigned compressor in DESK mode:
- it is now a VCA type compressor with RMS detection and program dependent attack and release
- three switchable attack and release behaviors (slow, medium, fast)
- also, a gain reduction meter has been added to the COMP section
- the dry (unprocessed) signal is now pre-trim
- new HQ-mode:
OFF: non-oversampled operation, uses significantly less CPU than before
ON: low-latency oversampling (4 samples), corresponds to SDRR 1, but still uses
slightly less CPU in many situations than in version 1.
FUZZ mode uses up to 20% less CPU
ON+: more detailled modelling and linear phase oversampling filters used for this option
- new preset-browser, just like the one used for MJUC and VUMT, incl. easy copy/paste/save-as-default...
- new presets
- AB-ing
- global settings with options to
- show/hide editable value readouts
- customize mouse-drag behaviour
- show/hide tooltips

Yes Olymoon, but I think, that has nothing to do with supporting the developers, "you are an ashole if you don`t buy it", and stuff that has become so common to read here.

"Try before you buy", as a motto, has been around for a few decades, but at the end it comes down to "Buy what you use to make money" ; the rest is here to have some fun, and by doing that, maybe you stumble upon something that was coded so well, that it would be pity not to pay for it, and implement it in your daily profitable workflow.

- Sorry for the Off topic, but I really don`t tolerate hypocrisy, and it seems to me, that, this is the case here
Of course, I may be wrong, but that is how I see it.

Have a nice day

You're right that this is off topic, so obviously I could continue the conversation but that would be elsewhere.
If someone create a thread at AZ about this, I'd be glad to participate.

If I could buy all the plugins I want to TRY PROPERLY FIRST, I would. However, I'm not that wealthy. I like to know what I'm spending my money on and have a free trial period that I say when it ends. I love Klanghelm plugins but he doesn't have demo versions. All this KVR ethics preaching has really become a bit too much on a pirate website like this, lately. Go preach at KVR and Gearslutz all you want! But not here. I don't come here to hear about supporting the developers. I come here for free software and if I like it I will buy it.

All these control freaks should go preach to a some more appropriate site. I have a feeling like you're going to a drug dealer and preach about how drugs are wrong. You would get beaten up, eh? So... Shut up and cheers! And support small developers, yes. LOL

Thank you SYNTHiCATE and Horsemen!

On the same token, it would be a shame if developers go out of business for the sake of a $25 bag of weed. But each to their own I suppose.

I buy stuff so that I can use AAX in Pro Tools, because that is what I use to earn a living.
Most people who don't buy stuff are probably not making a living from it and are just banging out crappy beats in the hope that Dre is gonna call.
So no harm done I guess.

In the UK "food" is also slang for drugs.

Pro Tools 12 says it's not a valid 64 Bits plugin...
If you know the trick or any info, it would be nice to share.

The other way I'll probably buy it soon or later... Already own a few Klanghelm, incredible bang for the buck ! This guy knows it's a shame to sell $200+ plugins...
