Klanghelm SDRR the saturation chameleon v1.0.1 WiN/OSX RETAiL screenshot
SYNTHiC4TE | Oct 20 2013 | 17.49 MB
SDRR was build to satisfy almost all of your saturation desires. It provides a comprehensive set of controls to manipulate the
character of the saturation to make it fit exactly. SDRR offers four different main modes: TUBE, DIGI, FUZZ, DESK and reacts
dynamically to the input signal. Each mode has it's unique crosstalk behaviour, which can be switched of or exagerrated. A
unique RMS level difference metering mode makes level matching an easy task.

SDRR can be different things: a saturation, a compressor, an EQ, a bitcrusher, a subtle stereo widener, or simply add some
movement to your tracks with the DRIFT control. Add warmth, depth and character to your tracks with SDRR.

Don't forget to check out the free IVGI, which can be seen as the little brother of SDRR. It is based on the DESK mode in
SDRR. Since IVGI is comparable to SDRR qualitywise, CPU-consumption wise and regarding aliasing (or better the absence of
aliasing artifacts), it's a good way to also get an impression of how SDRR would perform on your system.

SDRR is available in the following formats (all included in one single license):
Windows: VST (32&64Bit), VST3 (32&64Bit), RTAS
Mac OSX: AU (32&64Bit), VST (32&64Bit), VST3 (32&64Bit), RTAS

Finally Klanghelm comes to Audioz, very happy to see such overwhelming support for a developer and honestly the guy deserves it. It's not everyday releases get pushed back so long to allow the man to make his money. I second Horsemen in reminding everyone that he uses no copy protection, his plugs are quality and the amount is just perfect. When told by a customer that he should increase prices he responded that he wouldn't pay more than that for a plug and he thought keeping the price low was the right thing to do. A company truly worthy of our business and respect. yes

I became a customer of Klanghelm after testing his products here (and I'm not exactly a big buyer)... He's got the best plugins, at the best price. The man just deserves the money.

I prefer this plugin to every saturation plugin I've ever installed and tested. Believe it or not. It's fantastic, and I don't say that often, on the contrary - I usually find something, or the most things, bad in every plugin and everybody should know that by now. rofl I also don't judge plugins by anything other but sound, that is - the quality of DSP processing. I don't care about how much CPU it uses if it sounds good, though. Hardware sounds one way, and that's the way I prefer. This plugin makes me want to give up hardware completely. It's just not worth it any more. I'd keep s few pieces because they're so much fun, but that's it. ITB mixing is finally there for me.

Well, to criticise it a bit, I hate the idea of different GUIs because it's an unnecessary waste of memory, especially because you really want to run a few [dozen] instances of this. The sound of it is incredible. Waves? get out... rofl I just get the sound I always wanted with SDRR minus EQ and compressor, if the compressor or even EQ is needed at all after treating it with SDRR. Give it a real in depth listen. All four modes are different and absolutely useful.

This is a real "no brainer" to purchase, IMHO. But I still wonder how stable it is so I have to test it more. I also use IVGI a lot [like just on every channel, not much lol] and it's been stable so far.

I rarely encounter a plugin that makes me so excited. Shame my wife isn't here... this deserves a quickie at least... yes, that's what good sound does to me. rofl

SineWave

About ITB mixing, i thought the same with Nebula 3. Even if it is a b*tch to setup and use.
Mechanical reverbs, compressors (they are good now), saturations,EQ and now CABS !!! (OwnHammer rules) i use it more and more. I forgot modulation, tape echo...in fact, almost everything can be done.
If you add VOS/Bootsy algo plugs to the equation, you get that "hardware" sound ITB easily.

I think those guys nailed it some years ago. Almost when synth devs nailed analog sound too : ACE, Synth Squad era.

Yeah SineWave I know exactly what you mean man, I feel the same way. Anyone that prefers Waves J37 should also compare the price and the fact that Klanghelm uses no copy protection. It's really a feel good purchase.
