Kontakt 5 – current: 5.6.6

The update includes the following improvements and fixes:

•Improved the On-Screen Keyboard’s color legibility based on user feedback
•XY Pad: Individual cursors can now be hidden via KSP ($HIDE_PART_CURSOR)
•The customized string representation of parameter values in XY Pad is now shared with the host correctly
•Updating the value of a cursor from within the control’s callback is now reliable in XY Pad.
•No longer any potential crashes when trying to view the Host Automation tab with certain NKIs loaded
•Crash when trying to view the Infos (sic) tab of the Instrument Options dialog with certain NKIs now fixed
•Certain NKIs no longer trigger the “Really quit…” dialog every time they were closed


Manually replace the files of the previous 5.6.5 version with the new ones.

Such as:

Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 5\Kontakt 5.exe
Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Kontakt 5.aaxplugin\
VstPlugins\Native Instruments\Kontakt 5\Kontakt 5.dll

EDIT:
I found the .dll files in the VstPlugins folder under Program Files (x86). My bad!

nicely done P2P! i still only had 5.5 installed but these seem to work like a charm for me, without even having to install 5.6 first... i wish ALL plugins anymore could be "no intall".

I'm having an issue with kontakt....I open the program but it doesn't you on the screen, it appears on the windows bar but can't see the program. Anyone having the same problem? any solutions? Also in studio one, i can see but in the name "kontakt" on the instruments loaded it shows light grey, not grey like the other plugins

So in theory will this work on windows xp, just replacing older Kontak install files? since there is no installer, that will block you from installing on xp

ROFL, I had Tracer's 5.5.1 installed, just replaced the .exe and the .dll's with this version and it's working flawlessly, all libraries, cracked, legits and custom made. Win10/Reaper.
MY GEAR: Only Hi-End HW sonically engineered for us cats, which you've probably never heard about and will never have access to, cuz we r awesome and u suk.

I wish there was an update installation version....I spent hours uninstalling/reinstalling and trying to find work arounds...the .dll's don't work for me on fl studio win 7 64 bit - im still stuck in my 5.6.5 version...guess I'll have to wait

Well, I don't really know where to post my request. I am looking for the latest fully working Kontakt version.
My desktop computer (windows 10 pro 64 bits) is brand new, so there is no previous version within.
I am a bit lost with all those versions.
Could someone give me a hand with it ?

I do exact what it say, but not work for me, can open kontakt 5 but just see only bar, not the rest of the window of kontakt. on fl and studio one same problem. 32 bit version on fl and studio one, windows 7 64bit

¿Why when a sample is not found in a preset loading and we say look for it, browser goes as far it can go!!! to look for it instead of logical look into near places (The Lib into)???

Works better than 5.6.8 no install. I had installed 5.6.8 at first than I found out the problem of loading libraries so I took the 32 and 64 bit drivers from 5.6.6 and copied over the 5.6.8 drivers. I've had no problem so far loading libraries into kontakt.

I can't get it to work. The standalone player says 5.6.6 but the version in cubase says 5.6.5 - tried numerous times but always the same

I deleted and installed the 5.6.8 and am using the 5.6.6 standalone to add libs
