mine became a demo too. now I see why all these fixes. because it is not cracked. I wish they would tell us the truth instead of faking.. what a bummer. Well guitar rig is still KING

This worked for me. I didn't have to uninstall first either.

** EDIT **
Furthermore, I"m testing something here on my end. I'll post back when I find out if it works. I suspect that it will take a couple of weeks (15 days ?) to determine if my little trick does indeed fix the "revert-to-expired-demo" issue. If it does work, I'll let you guys know and then I"ll post the instructions. I don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather keep using version 2.6 than go back to 2.57.

As promised, here are my findings:
When the app reverts to expired demo, it *is technically still cracked, but it needs a bit more massaging.
- Delete the (3) files it installs into C:\ProgramData\FlexNET.
- Next, advance the date on your PC. I set mine to 2069, for example.
- Launch the S-Gear "Stand alone" executable. (NOT DAW VST!)
- Close the application.
- Change your PC's system date back to current.

So far, I've had good success. My installation of this version of S-Gear has been working perfectly for longer than three weeks, and HAS NOT reverted back to "demo" mode.
