None of my Kick 1 presets seem to work (I just copied the files). The preset show up, but clicking on them does nothing, it just closes the preset dialog.

after you have convert the presets of kick 1 with the converter, u place them in

C:/programData/Sonic Academy / Kick 2 / Presets / DLC / SomeFolder / SomeSubFolder / preset.preset
or
C:/programData/Sonic Academy / Kick 2 / Presets / User / SomeFolder / preset.preset

this is what bryan told me..
"as i say it's pretty buggy. you'll have to hook up the clicks etc. again to most of them.
the convertor will give you an error usually, but it does still convert"

That's weird. There was supposed to be backwards compatibility. That's why the Drive knob is still there even though they added a full distortion unit. I forget where exactly I read that but I know it was directly from one of the materials put out by SA.

Maybe if you wait for an update?

When it says "0.Uninstall previous versions.", does that mean previous versions of KICK 2? I assume I can have 1 and 2 installed parallel, yes? Just for compatibility with old projects, I will use 2 in future ones.

The built in compressor doesn't seem to work, i pushed the parameters, even the make up gain and nothing, no GR or raised volume.
Thats really not a biggie though since i have a hell lot of compressors.

Probably where he's getting stuck is that you need to click the little light next to the compressor label. Wouldn't be surprised if not everyone knows it's not on by default. Still tricks me sometimes and I got this plug the week it came out.
