Hi, I think it's fantastic that this whole package has been put together for us all to be able to test out etc.

The biggest problem I am facing, which no one who has successfully completed on a Win7 64bit PC has done, is the detailed 'how' to get all the R2R activations working.

For example, If I were to use the Kontakt 5.2.1 image from a folder called UNLOCKED_Win having 31 folders (from a download called unlockedupdate), after installing all the pkg's successfully (not opened or tested), the txt file tells me to uninstall all previous versions of Kontakt 5.xx.

But if I were instead to go to another folder I have (from the same download called unlockedupdate) called UPDATE, which contains only 29 folders, and use the Kontakt 5.3.0, all I need to do is mount the image and install, according to R2R's txt file.

No one has stated that I can forget about 5.2.1 and just apply the 5.3.0 update, and Kontakt 5 will work, without the need for the 5.2.1 stages of uninstalling the original packed Kontakt 5, installing the supplied 5.2.1 and then applying 5.3.0.

And anyone who has 'done this' successfully, it would be a huge relief to everyone wanting to follow in their footsteps to know this kind of detail. Why? Because when the bulk of peoples comments relate to failed installations and other such problems due to small gaps in the installation process, it kind of puts you on edge with installing such a huge app.

I know this post is not Toontrak related, but the same kind of helpful advice is also missing from those kinds of posts, whether EZD or SD.

These are big apps, and with so many parts to them, one tiny missing detail in the install can mean a week of pulling your hair out :)

So can any member here installing to a PC confirm, for example, that I can forget and miss out the 5.2.1 step and jump straight to the 5.3.0 update?

Another important missing detail is, is there any special order of updating/applying the R2R files? I mention this since Kontakt is at the core, so shouldn't this be done 1st? And what about plugins related to say Guitar Rig - shouldn't GR be done before those?

Another example of install details missing is say the Solid Bus Comp, the txt file says if a new install, run R2R's NI_InstReg tool - where's that? There's no file I've found called 'NI_InstReg tool'.

Hey guys. So I am trying to get a grip on this MAC OSX installation issue. I read the advice regarding using Kontakt Factory Library Library Part 7.pkg from Komplete 8 Library, however where can I download that library? Do I really need to download Komplete 8 to get that? Do I need to download Kontakt?

Has anyone solved the MACOSX installation error?

An update for any noobies on pc's.

Not being able to discover which to do in what order etc, I just went for it. Seems it doesn't matter on the order you install.

One 'important' thing I discovered though, with my installing it not to the default folder setup, if you choose 'new' install, it will install to the default as opposed your being able to choose the location.

I have not tried every single part out yet, but it all appears to be ok, showing up in Studio One 2 etc and that means I can input via my NovationLaunchpad.

Took me 2 days being very careful, ticking each off a list, finding missing bits etc. God help me if I need to reinstall Winz :lol:

Can someone please provide detailed installation instructions for MAC OSX please? do we actually install every pkg file seperately for the library?
I performed the permissions reset on the Komplete 9 folder i created and put all the DVD's in, i then initiated the "Komplete 9 Ultimate Installer" but it keeps failing? :(
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Good day all, can someone please help me... i have download it all... but now i try to install and i really am 10 gb or something like that short from the 370gb that have to be installed (no space on my ssd) because i have the installers And have to install so it comes more gb... does someone have a solution for me :(?

2. Download any DVD Library 2 ---> 30... Unpack Rar and copy Folder to DVD 1

Hi, I've got the new komplete kontrol hardware but he misses the komplete 9 serial number that NI is sending to all registered Komplete 9 users. Does anyone have a valid serial or how to overcome this situation?
