How to use separate dvds
1- download dvd1 it must be to make other dvds working.
2- download any dvd you wanna to try or use, and extract it in the same folder of dvd1 after tat run the insaller it will detect the new dvd.

Well, I'm under OS X Mavericks (as previously stated) and so far absolutely no luck getting this to install on any machine I am running (Laptop or Desktop).

I'm about ready to give up now unless someone else has some bright ideas?

Can't believe I wasted all that time downloading this tbh.

Hi All!

I am facing the same installation issues as Hughythomas and many others.....:(

Please help us to understand why the installation fails.

I have unzipped all the DVDs rar files in the same folder, I run the Installer, the installation starts but close to the end it fails showing this type of message "Installation failed".

Please help us before we throw away in the trash all these huge files

Hello, I've got a little tips and a question:
- For Maverick users: If trying to install applications and an error occur: create byhand the native instruments folder in application otherwise it wont works.

QUESTION:
I put all the .pkg into the dvd01 folder, but the installer still cant locate content. What is the fuck with that? I must have missing content... How many .pkg do you have at the end?

For those who are having trouble with Part 7 of Kontakt Library, open the .pkg, extract Archive.pax.gz, then extract Archive.pax (all of these with Keka), then move the Sample folder to your Kontakt Library. Works like a charm !

Once you have downloaded the dvd on an external hard drive launches the installer win or mac and select what you want to install from the list that will appear and where to install it (the choice of the directory). It 's simple ...

You do not need to download all dvds. Download only the ones you need.
When you launch the installer selects only the downloaded packages. You still have to download the patchs (single file)...

Hi okay..firstly it doesn't state which dvd contains what. Its only named from dvd 1-31. So how could i figure that out? Also i just got the abbey road drums and the giant...tho now when i go to install it and my hard drive is connected...while installing i cant select my hard drive..it says that that can be installed only on a mac osx device..so that like took up 10gb..could help me figure that out? Thanks for the help! :)

Bad experience by using fully downloaded from torrent (kickasstorrents) :

- The worse : Mac installer seems don't work (full install), any OS X version (10.8 and 10.9.x), .mpkg sucks ! Works on PC WiN7, however.
- Missing products like "RC 24" and "RC 48" (or "Reverb Classics"), perhaps others, investigating...

A whole disk image from original HDD would be better than this release, IMO.

I don't know why, but every time i try to install is says: "error in the installation program" (freely translated from Dutch :p)

anyone knows how to 'fix' this. otherwise it's 250 Gigs for the trash can :(

Hi to all,

This is a tip concerning Kontakt Factory Library Library Part 7.pkg :

From downloaded K9U, they're some missing files (required for Mac install) in this package, such: Info.plist, PkgInfo, and Resources subfolder...

To fix this issue, you can use Kontakt Factory Library Library Part 7.pkg from previous KOMPLETE 8 or KOMPLETE 8 Ultimate, yes, this library is strictly identical!
