whats the point of the kompakt versions? kompakt isnt supported anymore since 2005, thats 10 years now. so why bother with it?

no need to crack kontakt/kompakt libraries, thats just another BS post.

kompakt was the lite version of kontakt before the kontakt player came.

just get the kontakt version of these libraries.

But Just for curiosity, I thought there weren't EWQL Kontakt versions. Just Kompakt-EWQL-tailored ones which load in unlocked Kontakt. Did EWQL libraries just for Kontakt even existed?

They were originally Kompakt libraries, came with their own player. But for many years, you can simply press ADD LIBRARY in Kontakt and put them there.

yes in 2006 they converted them to kontakt (i think not even EW did that).

btw 1.0.8 is such an old version, please remove this from the new article side of the page.

These libraries, as far as I know, are Kontakt or Kompakt. If you install the library standalone its Kompakt. If you add the library to kontakt, it will work in Kontakt. But they had issues. The would give you RAM errors because these older libraries didn't support extended RAM. And they will add to Kontakt library but without a wallpaper.

So, this post fixes that! For any people that want to use these older Kompakt/Kontakt libraries without RAM errors. Download these fixes to make them compatible with modern extended RAM. So, thank you for this post. I didn't know about this info. And I use symphonic choirs! So this is news to me!
