Does anyone know if you have to remove Omnisphere 1 ? Ive got both installed to plugin dir but can only see omnisphere 1. Installed everything correctly from PROPER and patched the plugin before starting cubase. Omnisphere 2;dll still wont show.

When r2r say 'remove previous cracks' i thought they may be referring to the initial dodgy omnisphere 2 release

just delete omni 1 and make fresh omni2 install. omni2 includes all from omni1.

Took Omni 1.dll out and yep 2 now works.

Man i didnt know it included omni1 aswell. Does that mean i have a duplicated 50gb sitting on my hd?>

yes. well omni2 is an upgrade of omni1.

the legit install works like that. the installer detects if you have already omni1 installed, if yes he downloads the new omni2 library and merges it with the omni1 library you have already on the disc.

so yes you can delete it.

Would someone be kind enough to explain the difference with this and the previous release. I understand the comment about 'compression problem' but I installed the first release and everything seems to work fine. Is there a valid reason for downloading the whole lot again?

Hey Sunny let's make another 20 threads for this release, 10 just isn't enough of a pain in the ass. Horsemen should have been the one to put up ONE thread because he was the first to post the release. I'm gonna talk to SAiNT about making a new rule that if a release is started by someone then they have exclusivity to upload all of it because this is just idiotic. Stupidest thing ever to have one thread for each disc. So now if I want to download this software I have to set aside a week to figure everything out and then another one to get all the links together.

Wow.. Lol also whats up with all these Omnisphere threads.. No wonder so many people are confused. had a lil help from someone, and if everyone would just follow the directions people are saying, everything will work fine.. Win8 32/ 64 bit runs fine from R2r install.. Thanks alot guys for everything.. All previous presets packs works as well.

What are you talking about? You do that all the time! You'll upload part of a post and then add the rest later. Perfect example: you'll upload Win, so Horse uploads Mac and then you change your post to Win/Mac. I've seen it with my own eyes, many many times. So you don't feel that it's ridiculous to have 13 Omnisphere posts? You're telling me that you think that this is normal for a release. What if it came on 20 discs, would we have to make 20 posts? It's not philosophizing, do you not understand that it's causing a lot of confusion for members and has become a total mess? I'm not saying that theoretically it can be confusing, I'm telling you that in actuality members are confused. All of us are getting a million messages about this.

He sends me what appeared to be an ambient loop, probably from one of the packs he uploads and claims "it's a work in progress". I know for sure he is only here to profit.

Omni 2 there is no sound. WTF ???

The reason for the dics 6 and 7 not unzipping correctly is that they have wrong names for the single rar-files.
If someone does not want to download twice, he should rename all the rar-files the same with ascending numbers.
