You're the first friend who has this problem .. is make cleaning your system registry. maybe you have records of a previous version of SmartScore x2 and reinstalls the application by following the steps in the readme file .


Ps: It seems they do not read the Readme file which instructs you to do in the address install in C:\Program Files\Musitek\SmartScore X2 Professional Edition

Uninstall, clean the registry from most Musitek keys , reinstall it, still asking for registration info. Then replace the Smartscore.exe with what you call a patch, and now it's opening and says that it's registered to Rebels!? Why you did not include this patch in your first release?

Not working for me. windows 7 64bit
patch reverts to a new setup screen
there is no C:\Program Files\Musitek\SmartScore X2 Professional Edition
so i copied patch to C:\Program Files (x86)\Musitek\SmartScore X2 Professional Edition

anyone able to make this work with 64bit version of windows.

For those who's having problems........
if u follow these instructions u'll be set up and running in no time:
1-Extract SmartScore X2 Pro + Crack
2-Open the folder, inside u'll have Crack-SmartScoreX2 + SmartScrX2.msi
3-Run the SmartScrX2.msi
4-Install it on your default inst directory for me it's C:\Program Files (x86), for you it might be different
5-Extract the file called Crack-SmartScoreX2
6-Run SmartScore_pro.exe (it's supposed to be the patch file) and install it to:
C:\Program Files\Musitek\SmartScore X2 Professional Edition
7-Go to C:\Program Files\Musitek\SmartScore X2 Professional Edition and copy two files newly created called SmartScore_pro.exe and SmartScore_pro.exe.BAK, those are the patched files needed to unlock your software: paste these files into your default inst directory (step number 4) and replace the originals in the default directory of your installed software.
8.- Run SmartScoreX2 Pro from the desktop
9.- Enjoy :)

I have made these instructions as clearly and slow paced as possible ......:-)

It's pretty good software. I was able to open and convert a scanned pdf file of music sheet and convert it to XML. It's not perfect, but it can save some time, and it shows you where the errors are so you can correct them. Thank you!
