Really good to see R2R hasn't vanished completely just yet. I think a lot of people here had very mixed feelings about the whole situation. But what's important is it opened up a much needed dialog on how this cannot be just a take take take game. I think a lot of users here were ignorant to how this all works. We as a community must give in order to receive.

Actually this is a team MATRiX release using an R2R method that they've been authorized to use. There shouldn't be any mixed feelings. We fucked up and we are responsible for everything that has happened. We got too lax and thought that we'd always have them at our side in support of our cause but the sad truth is that we weren't willing to stand in support of theirs. Somewhere along the way we even convinced ourselves that this was the way it should be. It's a sad day that we've lived to see when such a statement had to be made so that we could gain some much needed perspective. Even though I give a lot of myself here, somehow I still feel apologetic. We owe them so much more.

There is no thread. What happened is as I've been predicting and warning people of for quite some time because there was a palpable feeling that the P2P bubble will soon burst. There has formed strong scenewide opposition to the current shite state of affairs. Therefore team after team has ceased their releases. I haven't seen a HORiZON release in months though there hasn't been an official statement from them but I can imagine it's the same deal. If anyone knows any different then I'd love to hear any info. R2R has also announced that they've stopped releasing indefinitely as well as HEXWARS and now MATRiX. Times they are a changing.

Anyone beginning to see a trend here? I'd be really concerned that so many teams are reiterating the same message. Our wealth truly does breed emptiness. Now perhaps for the first time in a very long time we will truly begin to internalize that concept.

Also I just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for this release and for the opportunity to do things differently this time around so that I might win back the favor of those that worked so selflessly and tirelessly for me.

I honestly dont see how this new method will fix things. The leeches will continue leeching and the ungrateful people will remain in the background. They will just wait for the people that do care about the community to supply and release. What i do agree on is that something has to be done. This is a great community and im sure its filled with people that can contribute and many different ways. The catch here is finding an effective way that people can communicate and contribute. None the less may be a step forward toward a bigger change.

It's a wake up call, a way to get your undivided attention because when releases are flooding out people seem too preoccupied to hear what they're trying to say. Not everyone will get the message but I'm sure that some will. If things won't significantly change then it's quite simple: they will route around you. That much has been made abundantly clear. Make no mistake, they're all dead serious and willing to go the distance. You guys need to give them a compelling reason not to. If you can't come up with that reason then ultimately you will all lose out. The end.

Well all i can say is that basicly without this site, without these options i would be nothing, my music production abillity has sky rocketed since joining and that makes me happy seeing as the only reason im still breathing is because of music. i owe R2R and others my life because of the tools i have been given and ill never forget their generosity!. Right now i get £58 a week to live on because im on benefits due to depression, i barely leave the house anymore and basicly my comunication skills are becoming poor. I would never have dreamed to own plugs like this to use to help me create whats in my head i wish i could buy stuff for you guys i really do but you know how much things cost like food/gas/bills, i have nothing left most of the time before i get paid again, plus i have a child with my ex who i have every 2 weeks and every weds with no extra income to help, basicly hanging on a thread. Other than leechers and ungratefulls there are real people who are out here guys, were not all like this, just some of us cant comunicate it properly and lose out, it is a shame i think i could afford to pay a monthy membership to help fund you guys but it will have to be in a reasonable range. I dont know what you will think about this but im not asking for sympathy because many people are worse off than this. I'm just typing what i feel and think the best i can, i don't know how it will be recieved and knowing me ive missed out a lot of stuff i wanted to say, im really poor at this but THANKS EVERYONE IT REALLY DOES MEAN THE WORLD WHAT YOU ALL HAVE DONE!

I hear you man. I went through a rough patch last year. Dropped out of college, had a bunch of problems with my ex, didn't leave the house for like 5 months. All i did was produce and learn new things, watching tutorials from here. Idk what i would have done without this site. I really appreciate this site, wish we were more organized as a comunity though, like i said b4, im sure we have lots of talented people with all kinds of skills.

Really sad that teams are "someking" of sad with the final user.... dothey consider that most of the ones that complain are in fact anti-p2p or some kids that come from a one well know torrent site.. that actually they support the trolls.. i mean, my opinnion is simple, teams have to filter this kind of people, there are anti's and kids without file share education.. and them the ones that are gratefull for all releases. i think the way this is going is not the way it should go. Teams are going in the game of anti-p2p.. dont do this or you will be tired of this, and you going to give up. one rant here another there, kids dont know how things work, they rant to.. teams rant back.. final result team retire. wakeup dudes! fight back, be superior be subtile!
