I don't see where this is bad news...

The worst day in the house is when your girlfriend is quiet.

They told us what they want so lets just do it...I think with ALL of us that has been downloading, we can put our money together and buy some stuff...send it to them and basically they're saying they will do the rest.

Personally I love it...I think this is the challenge us poor people need to - for the first time - be a part of the solution.

One of us gather the money, buy it and send it to them.

We can start with that Omnisphere 2 Hexwars asked us for and go from there. I'm already prepared to put my money in...

If we want to call ourselves a "community" then this is what communities do. They help each other. I'm ready when you are.

Do you do it for the love of mixing and making music? If so why do you need plugins cause it doesn't matter to you how it turns out..you're doing it for the "Love" of it.

If I took your entire mix and sold it to some big name label without giving you any money for it...nor mention you or sold one of your productions then came back to you and complained that I only made $4,000 off that mix/song...you wouldn't be upset at all right?

I think you get it now..think about it...you're the one who said you thought "that those crack teams are enjoying what they do and SHARE LOVE with those plugs with people from all over the world"

If you don't do what you do to "share love" why do you want them to do it? What difference does it make "IF" they make a profit from all that hard work...don't you want to make a profit from you're hard work?
But here's where i'm thinking like them...I hate when some complains to me about something I've done for them...like what I did wasn't good enough. If you've never done anything for anybody and had them complain about it maybe you really don't get it.

Lets buy something(s) and send it to them...that's my suggestion.

I think an affordable monthly subscription may be at least part of the solution.
Those with more technical nous can contribute in their way and those without can contribute financially. I think if people start buying software personally and offering it up then there may be a lot of repeat buys and it would sort of defeat the purpose. At least some of the subscription money could be used more efficiently towards the continuation of quality releases and ongoing progress of the community. As I say only part of the solution as I know it's more complicated than that but at least more people will be contributing in their own small way.

Those who abuse? should be sacked. The teams such as Hexwars, R2R, Matrix and others should be applauded for all that they do and have done. What is sad is that not only do many users here abuse the uploaders and contributors, but they also abuse even the residents who try and help other members when they have questions! I have seen this more than once here and its sad that those people who we know abuse, have not been sacked. Just my opinion.

There is always ways to contribute to this community. What really needs to stop is all the verbal abuse to those of us who take the time to help others. what SHOULD really happen, is that those who contribute and can contribute? that is GREAT! Those who can help others enhance what they do, and really give positive and encouraging feedback to enhance one's passion? GOOD! that is how everyone can become better here. Remember, We all need to help each other in this world. In one way or another. If we want to keep having the teams do what they do best... then GIVE THEM THANKS, let them know that what they've done for you! So many of us have benefited from their hard efforts.. its about time that people here show them JUST HOW MUCH you appreciate what they do, because that is something they do not get enough of, and should!

Photone may be the new Sonitus, another group that did nothing but repackage P2P releases. Somehow Sonitus was a scene group.

It has nothing to do with the site. The site can run ads. Uploaders host large files on premium sites. That doesn't matter. It's the groups (you know, the ones that put their names at the end of the files) that ask for something in return. They want people to give back. It's not about money.

Actually the limit is the plugin itself. Did you read any of the comments/nfos on those releases? It's based on a weak implementation of Pace/iLok protection on a limited number of plugins. They probably found all of them, and once they got released, the makers will fix the plugins.

Forgive my ignorance, but can someone indicate exactly in what specific way I can contribute and to who?
From what I can understand from the very vague comments here, it's helpful if someone buys, for example NI Golden Kingdom, and uploads it onto a filehost and then posts the link here for a group like R2R to download and crack?

Is that what this is all about? I'd like to help, but I need to know exactly how.

If someone in the know can actually explain in simple laymen terms from start to finish what kinds of contributions are required and the best ways to go about fulfilling these contributions then it seems to me that there will be a lot less confusion.
From what I've been reading that seems to be what people want because there does seem to be so much tooing and froing between people here and it just ends up in arguments, put downs and name calling on both sides.
Personally I can do without all the negativity.

If we want this to work then we have to be pro-active and be willing to communicate in a clear and rational manner with each other. I can understand frustrations on both sides but until people are willing to be a bit more patient with each other and set some sort of guideline and next step approach then we are going to continue going around in circles. I certainly want to see this sight moving forward.
