I was also experiencing it with older R2R release, the other one from UNION worked better that time (you could try to use the license provided in their package). It might be partly bad serial partly buggy plugin.

On some daws they just don't work.

I think, some plug-ins should be called (not only these):
"Buggy Implementation of the High-Quality Algorithms". Often, designers can make complicated, sophisticated, unique algorithms, high-precision DSP processing, but GUI is awful, workflow is annoying, a lot of crashes and bugs, "unsupport" in almost all DAWs, knobs'n'faders do not work properly, presets automatically reset, etc.

The bitter irony is that the 1.5 R2 RAON release works perfectly. Perhaps we should give them some time to fix those bugs...
