1.x is fine 2.0 is needed for that extra stuff like Mark samples and stuff

Thank you for responding. I should've mentioned that if I want to download this 2.2 update, can I just download Machine 1.0 then download this update and be fine? Or do I have to download 1.x, then 2.0, then this update?

Well you do not need any previous install just this..But if you want the samples and stuff that come with the program you need either 1.0 full or 2.0..If you want full install all current up to date stuff..download 1.0 plus all updates and version 2.0 and this and you will have full everything.This is just the program with no samples included!

Edit: In all honesty Its overkill 1.0 samples and 2.0 samples.The reason i say this is because everybody has the same sounds..Same kicks same snares etc!..Build a custom library of your own sounds and use this and your Gold!

Unfortunately I think it's only possible to run this update without 2.0 software in Windows. When I accidentally downloaded the Windows version, it had cracks for both the updated version and first-time installers whereas OS X only offered the update. Please let me know if anyone discovers a workaround.

You know, I don't usually reply to this kind of post at all - especially one that is 8 months old. But I can't help but ask this question: why would you make a nasty, negative comment like that to a person who already has purchased a full earlier version - and now simply wants to try the more advanced version, before spending more money for essentially the same thing? Your comment is a direct personal insult to someone asking a legitimate question. If you are a developer of this software, you should be able to see that exposure here has led this person to purchase it. If not, then your question has no bearing on the uploader, the user, or the software. Why so negative?
We can surmise that such a person is likely to purchase the latest version if it is worth it. And if it isn't, he'll stick with what he originally paid for.
And there is another question: what business is it of yours who has what amount of money? Some people are musicians, but ARE, indeed, too poor to pay 99.00 for something that may not even be much better. I'm glad you have the money. Many simply do not. There is no reason on a sharing site, that I can see, to even utter such a scornfull, negative comment to someone you don't even know. Why do you even come here? That's all - just asking.
