There is some information about Kickstarts Changelog on Protocol Recordings Twitter. Kickstart 1.0.5 brings UI fixes and a slight speedups of its code, but nothing has been posted about the 1.0.6 update yet...

...hmm, now what other simple device which sits on a track can make a 'pump' sound?, this is a nice device but I think we've been able to make a 'pump' sound even before side chaining was invented LOL, I guess its at least 'cool' to see how people reface already existing inventions.

The thing i don't Like about this is that it Dose Not Follow your drum pattern it is Robotic it only follows 1/4 1/2 and so on so if you Make a intricate pattern is dose not follow it it is for mostly 4 on the Floor Beat's

it says you can trigger with midi....does that not work? cuz that would make this pretty useless.

This is developed by cableguys, just like volume shaper. Although Volume Shaper is more versatile, I really like it for its simplicity.
You can just throw it on whatever you want to test pumping on, without creating a side chain first and fiddling with a lot of parameters. If you need more control you can always set it up later. I think it is a nice plugin for what it does. Cannot expect more of a Plugin for 10 Bucks…
