Some people have perfect pitch. For them, transcribing the chords of a song is just as easy as writing down the lyrics. For the rest of us, life is way more difficult. Fortunately, now you can get this cool piece of software to help you with the task!

Chorddetector is an mp3/wav-player with an integrated chord detection engine. As simple as that. Of course, what’s going on under the hood is mighty complicated but all you need to do is load the song whose chords you’re interested in, press play, and off you go! Chords will be displayed in realtime, so you can play along live with your instrument.

Heck, even the full version of Melodyne sucks at that, how can you possibly expect a 1 mb little app to do any better?

Like Tom Oon said, try with ear training, it's really not that hard.

use guitar riff station is better but as stated a program some times fails to trascribe chords as good as a human ear
