BrainStormer is a freeware virtual analog synthesizer.

HISTORY

As a programmer and producer, I always wanted to combine my two passions and create a synthesizer to understand the inner workings and challenges of such a beast. I started the BrainStormer on my free time in 2012, focusing on sound quality and synthesis capabilities. After hours and hours of design, personal researches, coding, testing, and many other things I can’t list, here is finally the 0.85 beta version.

There are so many things I wish I could add to the synth, like a FX section, more waveforms, 2 filters with serial / parallel options, intermediate distortion features, optimizing some parts of the code. Unfortunately I did not have the time to do this for now, but I keep all of this in mind for future versions.

Am I the only one that thinks that freeware belongs on AudioSex and not here?? It's real lame to post links for freeware when all you really needed to do was post the REAL link on AudioSex

This Plugin is also posted on Audiosex. The real link is also in this discription. I also mentioned that at original site there's a possibility to donate. As the developer of this allowed to distribute this release I simply thought that here at audioz more people will recognize this plugin. Whats wrong about it? BTW...lots of free stuff is posted here. And the fact that within these 3 hours (from the point when I post it here till now) 120 people downloaded this from my 2 links (+mirrors) proves my point of view..because the audiosex post has been done 10 hours before and its obvious these 120 people havent recognized it there.

Whats your problem with my comment...Plz explain! I know what statement I replied to. Mykal said in his opinion freeware should not be posted here. He said it would have been enough if I would have mentioned it at Audiosex. I simply told him, this Plugin has been posted at AS as well..but the chance people recognize it is much bigger here. This can been seen when take a look at the number of downloads people did (and I can see it when I take a look at the download statistics).

So once again...Whats you problem with it? I linked to developers original site..I mentioned (in bold letters) there's a possibility to donate, I uploaded the whole package to uploaded.to and firedrive (formerly known as Putlocker) so I dont earn anything with this. This post have more than 700 views (in 10 hours) actually (so it seems people think this Plugin could be some kind of useful for them..and when I look to the number of views of your post at Audiosex (279 views within more than 24 hours)..I can definetely say it was the right decision to post it here also!

And one word to your speculation about my mental condition. Stop this...who do you think you are?

BTW..The fact this post hasnt been rejected by Audioz moderators shows, its definetely OK to post Freeware here. But when I take a look at the number of releases you did I understand you dont know the release procedure here.

I don't see why this statement was necessary. Lukehh is a good guy who went out of his way to make a working 5.2.0 of Kontakt when he read that XP users couldn't install it. As far as I'm concerned he's VIP here and an asset to the forums.

The problem I have is as such.. it fucking rude to post free stuff using accounts that CAN generate money. I'm not saying that is what is going on here but ... freeware is freeware and I'm disgusted by the many here that make money off of them with their posts. Way to support the developers , Assholes. this BTW is not directed to Lukehh at all, It's just how I feel in general about freeware being posted on a warez site

Regularly I agree with you but I know that this wasn't his intention and he was just hoping to bring the release to a wider audience. No worries though because soon we will get to work relaunching AudioSex and that will give us more visibility and an influx of new members. I'm also looking to create a separate freeware section there to keep things separate from Software News. That way people get their freeware and developers get support.

Great idea and very over due, now in regards to all the other comments that were made.. There is never a real reason to be rude to anyone for any reason. It´s a double post, and you pretty well know that - but of cause: I should keep my mouth shut and ignore facts!

A few facts:
I never share demos etc. via my own private server-links, but via the original links, and .... I check out (the best you can here) if Im about to make a double post!

I could added my comment in a more polite way - no doubt! But I got carried away of all your pretty and self-righteous words - in other words: You pissed me off seriously!!!

In general I try to be polite, helpfull and friendly towards others in here - thats still my intention - in your case the quota was used up, thats all!

You know full well that it wasn't about money and he just had a desire to share this synth with everyone. I didn't find his response self-righteous, he was just trying to explain in-depth why he made this choice and if someone came at you with an attack like that do you really believe that you would act differently? Anyway I am trying to expedite the process of the Freeware section on AudioSex to prevent these future misunderstandings and to create a platform where developers can still get our support.

Get a thicker skin phloopy because though your quota might have been used up we have rules and beyond that members that are VIP should act accordingly. You should be setting an example for new members not flying off the handle because someone made an error

How could you possibly interpret that as a threat? It's just something I've noticed in myself that I thought could help you. You can still say what you want but as they say "it's all in the delivery".

Hey Mykal and also phloopy...I absolutely understand you when you really thought I posted this for making money out of it..But thats definetely not true!..I dont know if you know...but when you post something here you have to provide an uploaded or rapidgator link..so the rules say.. I also hate uploaded.to because of their hard limitations for free non registered users! And believe me, I never will make any profit from warez or free stuff..thats one of my principles! Cataly5t is 100% right..My aim was to let a greater audience be able to know about this great free synth. BTW thanks CAT for the warm words.
