On Mac, you could use virtual window to use the program and generate the nicnt file, then use it in your mac.
But for this you have to use the upper left corner green button:
NICNT GENERATOR

Nice work, after reading the nfo, I am wondering about the empty/zerobytes nicnt file. I have done it the manual way editing the registry and adding an empty/zerobytes foldername_info.nkx file and it works nicely. There must be an Instruments folder with the nki files to make it work. If you add a Multis folder beside the instruments folder they show up together in the Kontakt library selection.

thank's god! thanks bitbrain2101 ... IT HAPPENS! at least one out there understands me \ my alternate method compared to importing an .nicnt with crypto inside, congrats you really the FIRST (since +\ 1year) who try to understand it by made a successfull selftest

this can maybe protect you also of some unlock-fails cause , my method = all is done (kontakt think that he allready have done all) \ import a edited filled pre-nicnt = kontakt check and validate now the stuff inside and maybe (depends on the lib, as example "east west silver edition here) compare with valid "UPID" and "SNPID" etc, stored in his productsHINTS.xml info's at the service center folder! (0byte incl. all processes alleady done = nothing to compare, no matter wich snpid is used by the user (every lib. have usually a unique one), no reason to check anything, only the text-infos from the library.xml counts now , cause kontakt unlocks \ bypass all and not what ever wich file... (except various crypted ones) -> example: (again East West silver ed.) make eg a nicnt (by the ususal method) for this 3 party lib. & after this import with kontakt, the result = all is there but after loading a file you earn a library unlock error! now set all back to zero and make the same again, just with my libdropper 0byte one inside libdropper, after finished the tool, start kontakt -> the result = all is directly inside without importing anything and all files get's loaded without any errors! so, if you understand the method you doesnt wonder why it is like it is (thread is closed by my self cause ONE have it checked , hehe thx again and yes you're right: with valid 3party libs there MUST be the true folders-structure inside, cause kontakt checked with comparing chars if they aviable or not (and make all of them aviable if = TRUE as you quoated also both folders) as i know from the kontakt offset's in the codes "library part" since i begin crack\unlock it (wich is also a reason why i understand more and more what kontakt really makes at this library processes and wich is importand to do\wich is not... (and some things of the work that some ppl since a long & always again do is pure: useless \ UN-IMPORTAND)

Ray this is snipid explanation:

snipid is a unique number used by Native instruments for every library.

This is the explanation for nicnt numeration : (sorry it cannot be shorter)

1st point: we don't want our own created library to create conflict with commercial ones, so we need to use a code that it is not in use by them, like this one ea1 could be the first, then next library you will do you put number ea2 etc.. after ca9 go to cb1 and so on. only with this you can create more numbers than what kontakt is able to handle.

2nd point is that we don't want our libraries to conflict with themselves, so we have to keep a list of the numbers we have already used. This can be a simple txt file.

Valid range of alphabetic characters: a to f Take this into account.
Valid range of numeric characters : 0 to 9

Individual registration number of the library should contain only alphabetic or alphanumeric-digit combination.
Do not use the Cyrillic alphabet
Individual registration number of the library should not consist of only numeric combination.
If the registration code you choose for a library already exist, kontakt will tell that the library already exist. So in this case change the alphanumerical registration code.

Note: For those who use Olymoon libraries, and/or download his wallpaper and nicnt files, these are the range that they should not use to avoid conflict: c00 to cz9 and d000 to dzz9.

(i try it some deeper detailed: snpid are the first digits from a unique 20 digit long and also public aviable products-serial number used by all native instruments applications and also on sample librarys (wich took the first 3 digits to analyze wich one it is), this snpid is usually only stored at the service center sample library.xml , so that "he" (service center) knows what is to do next and how "he" should handle the user now *eg. at the online service center... this serial is not the final real serial , it shows NI only at wich step you are... if i rip the public snpid and put after this the full lenght sno (serial) into the registry = no trolly is shown at the online service center , wich means NI think that its allready purchased and he wait just for the last step: activating the product, wich is not needed - so usually it's better to use the real snpid instead of a fake one, cause all is like it should be now... (all my librarys are displayed correctly with the real "snpid" on each one , with a librarys-thumbnail if i go online at the service center, no trolly is behind a library and all is ok, it's not ok if i use a own used fake-snpid) but this point see many users different than me , so just follow threads how to do it in the way all do by google etc. )
