[center]reFX Slayer 2 VSTi AU v2.6.0 MAC/WiN screenshot
Teams: H2O / DYNAMiCS | Date: 2007 | Size: 5,24 MB / 11,59 MB
Slayer is a physical modelled virtual E-Guitar + AMP + Cabinet + FX.
Slayer 2 starts from where its predecessor left off. In particular, the physical model of the guitar has been completely revamped, improving the quality of the simulation dramatically. Not only does Slayer 2 sound a whole lot better, it is also much more flexible.

For example:

Up to 16 effects can now be used simultaneously; half of them before, and half of them after the amplifier. You can place any of the sixteen available stomp-box effects in any of the sixteen available effect slots. When you want to change the order of the effects, just drag'n'drop.

Astonishingly authentic acoustic guitars can be created by altering the size and material used for the guitar-body.

There are also new playing-aids - two new string-types, two new amplifiers and two new cabinets.

The interface graphics have been revamped too. Slayer 2 has a completely new, elegant and refreshing look. The whole look'n'feel makes it much easier and faster to use.

Supplied as a bonus plug-in, a special treat is the effects-only version of Slayer 2. With its own virtual amplifiers and effect pedals, you can even use Slayer 2 on your own guitar! Play your guitar live and Slayer 2 will mangle, smash and contort it to meet your needs.

Futures:

- Emulates 3 different pick-up types with 9 string variants.
- Guitars material and size can be changed (good for acoustic sounds).
- Built in AMP/Cabinet simulation (6 Amp models & 6 Cabinets)
- 16 effects "pedals" (eight pre-amp, eight post-amp) including "Wah Wah", Tremolo, Phaser, Chorus, etc.
- Effect-pedals can be moved around to change the signal-processing order (Drag 'n' Drop).
- Up and down strumming is supported (up, down, alternate and velocity).
- Playing-aids for instant gratification.
- 128 ready-to-go presets included.
- The effects section is also included as a separate effect plugin.

this link-

http://uploaded.net/file/x18ofxup

gave me a 316kb rar.exe file!
When you try to open it, it tries to execute a SummerSoft installer app.

Whats up with that??

I have to wait to try the mirrors out, but I'm not opening this .exe file.

the link page says 16mb, but what downloaded the 1st time was 316kb and it was a .exe file with the rar file name at the beginning... to trick you into opening it.

Did you download it to see what it gives you?

Maybe the host has been compromised and is randomly handing out this exe file with a rar files title attached to the front end.

I downloaded it again and it worked, gave me the real RAR file. So it must be a random attack??

tater01,

odd it would give me that with the rar files name attached like a trojan file looks..

I've dl'd many files from uploaded.net and never ran into this before. And I sure as hell wouldnt use a silly download program if I can avoid it.

I swear I was clicking all the correct links.. after the captcha, I clicked the download link and it gave me that suspicious file.
Dont know what else to say.. I'm sorry to stir things up, but I'm pretty sure something was not good.

I've been getting rar.exe files from many hosts like putlocker or hulkfile. Always avoid them as they are malware for sure.

Like I said Synetech, just like all the other file sites, they try to get you to use their downloader, no biggie.

Just uploaded very rarely, a little checkbox will show up next to download button. Uncheck it if it shows up, no biggie.

I do it too, I just click download cause its like a reflex, and sometimes I don't notice if that little checkbox showed up or not. No biggie, just cancel that download if you accidentally didn't uncheck the box, and download again making sure the little "use our download manager" checkbox isn't checked.

I totally agree wonder how in the hell they did make music 10 years ago with such crappy vst vsti:s??

Its like all those people dont think they can make music with old vst/vsti:s..
And yet then they raise artist that did just that to the skies..

Another thing that REALLY make me wonder what it is with all those people is this questions (is it 64 bit?)Or (is this for Mac/Pc?) etc etc..

And yet the posters have put links to PRODUCT HOMEPAGE in the thread???...

So how can you find answer to those questions??

Well how about go to developers website??
And if it is so hard to do a google plz use the link in this/the post/s before you make such qusestion..

Well it wasn't easy. We actually had to use hardware synths, fx and recorders sometimes, or even work with real people playing real instruments. I really don't know how we survived those dark and scary times dunno

0on3,
So right !!
Older instruments ( guitars, Basses, Violins ) tend have a greater value than the younger ones. Maybe because the tone matures on older instruments ?
Well.., don't know if that is true, but a sound will grow on you..
Same with some vst(i)s or analogue synths for that matter.
It is all in what you manage to do with them...
wink

Don't know why peeps are always thinking that the latest is the best.
Even cars have their fans...
