Not working on old MAC's anymore!

New features:

- Novation Launchkey mapping
- 64-Bit plug-in types
- Multi plug-in type installer
- New authorization procedure

This version is compatible with the following:
- OSX 10.7
- OSX 10.8
- Windows 7
- Windows 8

This version of BassStation includes/introduces the following plug-in formats:
- VST 2.4 (x86/x64)
- AU (x86/x64)

Does it work "unofficially" with Snow Leopard, yes or no?

It runs fine on Snow Leopard except that I can't edit sounds.
Nevermind, that was the AU in garageband, vst works perfect in Cubase.

32 bit only, whatever the choice I make on the installer. (VST 32 or VST 64)

Microsoft is a company. Last time I checked most companies are all about making money including Apple which actually extorts quite a bit from their user base. Honestly, I don't understand why you have such hate for Bill Gates but Steve Jobs to you is some kind of heroic figure. Did you and Bill have some bad blood in the past? Bill Gates left Microsoft to pursue philanthropy. Seems rare that the head of a huge corporation like that has the same kind of noble ambitions. If you can give me one solid piece of evidence then I'll take what you say seriously. Until then it seems to me that you're just repeating something that you heard somebody else say. And no InfoWars is not evidence.

I'm not taking anybody under my wings. I don't have a personal affinity for either of them. I just like to look at things rationally to find the real truth in matters. It is often easy to jump to conclusions and get worked up about something but the question is are we seeing things clearly? I ask myself the same question about things I believe every day. It's all too easy to get caught up in a mode of thinking. Google to me is a prime example of what you describe and has its hands in a lot of pies. Google is heading towards Umbrella Inc. in my opinion. They filter search results, have been accused of gathering private information from peoples WiFi connections (Street View fiasco), track you everywhere you go and a host of other unpleasantness. These days it is hard to find a company that is above all that. Mozilla maybe. I have done a lot of research on these matters and I can tell you capitalism isn't the problem, people are. Capitalism is very much like human nature. You can even try an experiment: give a man everything he could ever want without having to work for it and he will become devious, spoiled and ungrateful. Capitalism is about working hard for your dreams. Yes it has caused some injustices in the world but it is the best we've come up with so far. Really it is just serving peoples desires and beliefs that money is the most important thing. That is a flaw of humanity at it's core. It's easy to criticize something but coming up with a solution is another story. As I've stated before: if enough people feel this way then they should push their government to hold these companies accountable (if there is solid evidence). Justice is everyone's responsibility and is not automatic. As an entity companies are there to make money. This doesn't always coincide with the goals of a society but that is because they serve different purposes.

That's what I figured dude.

Technically, I have no crash opening the x86 module in Sonar X2.
It would be just better not to use Sonar's bridge and have full benefit of the 64-bit platform.
Maybe a repack will come soon to fix this.

well thnx but this update is a shame really. i expected a sequencer and some effects + some nice goodies and not a new copy protection and vst3 update.

they call this V2.0 but its just a money cow with no new features, glad people get it here for free. i am not using it anyway.

I was expecting some improvements related to the new hardware to come but it seems to be the same as before.
Saying this, the Bass Station II looks like full of promises and will surely be part of the ones I'll choose from this summer when I buy a small analog bass maker hardware synth. (Sub Phatty and MiniBrute being the other twos)
