Vocaloid 3 launched on October 21, 2011, along with several products in Japanese and a Korean product, the first of its kind. Several studios are providing updates to allow Vocaloid 2 vocal libraries to come over to Vocaloid 3. It will also include the software "Vocalistener", which adjusts parameters iteratively from a user's singing to create natural synthesized singing. It will support additional languages including Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. It is also able to use plug-ins for the software itself and switch between normal and "classic" mode for less realistic vocal results. Unlike previous versions, the vocal libraries and main editing software are sold as two separate items. The vocal libraries themselves only contain a "tiny" version of the Vocaloid 3 editing software. Yamaha will also be granting the licensing of plug-ins and use of the Vocaloid software for additional mediums such as video games.

forgot to say: as with previous version (aka "not fixed" version) Singer Editor is still not fixed, it's just launch the window of Singer Editor now, but(!) all functions are messed up (i.e. doesn't work properly), so actually there is no difference between fixed and not fixed versions
1. For example, right table of Active Singer list becomes empty after creating fanmade and open that window again. Ok, adding fanmade to singer list, then restart vocaloid, what we have? fanmade is there but original singer is gone. Create another fanmades, restart...and now all previous fanmades are gone, original singer(s) for last fanmade are also gone.
2. Trying to rename any singer in My Singer list (no matter it's fanmade or original singer name), so rename, ok, then error "failed to change singer name"
3. Trying to change singer parameters, then click ok, error "failed to change singer name".
etc, etc, etc...Singer Editor can't work properly. Protection between 3040 and 3050 was changed partially and Singer Editor of 3050 seeking for Activated libraries in every aspect of own functionality (not just launch issue)
