SoundToys has released version 4.1.8 of all SoundToys plug-ins and bundles.

Changes:

This is an important release which fixes a serious issue some TDM users had experienced with the 4.1.7 update.

It is recommended for all V4 owners. This is a free update for all customers who currently own V4 versions of our plug-ins and bundles. [b][/b][u][/u]

I know in 4.1.6, there was an issue with using the plugins in sample rates > 48KHZ. Did that get fixed?

I guess the famous timebomb (glitches after 15 days or one month) is gonna still there, isn't it?

I'm very confident that R2R have removed the time bombs
and tested the plugs a longer time then usual.

They wouldn't release half baked cracks !

So it can happen to even the greatest !

i use soundtoys 1.6.2 from soundtoys never had a timebomb only the presets are set to default after restart

147258369, that only happens after version 4. For my workflow is much better to have the presets at hand, but I'm working now with version 3.X with no problems so far. Anyway, some of the new presets (really nice ones, actually) cannot be opened with previous versions.

It's cool to embed the extra bombs inside the PACE protection :) Plugins checks if it is modified or not and send the data to dev's server. After that it stops the processing and starts beeping. In other words, you get logged by dev when the plugin bombs!

That's what we call "intrusive software" = spyware!
Oh, i think R2R could help us (MAC-fools) to crack that damn NAUTILUS + Rocket Science Bundle by Audio Ease. If you want the full Installers contact us (Xdb or Kook).

it might work or not, i dont care but the most important thing that everybody dont even mention is that someone out there like R2R, Team VR, KRock, CHAOS, TVB, Xdb and many others listens to you and they know what you want and they try to bring to you that ...can you show a little respect? just for this ...do you realize someone is working to crack so your ass can enjoy a working plug?? ...yes, they might fail sometimes, but to get rid of this stress of bad rushed cracks, go and buy your license and i assure you that you will be more than happy ...please, understand that it is hard and stressful work they put to bring you even half working app ...wait patiently for a fix

question: in which soundtoys version is the speed plugin, i have tried the last three soundtoys version from air & SnD but i have never seen the speed plugin from soundtoys ?????

dont understand what you mean, the info on the website says, it is included in the SoundToys Native Effects V4, and this release is the native version V4 or not ?

to the most accurate info about this fact (I don't have checked it).

The 'Speed' Plug-In that you're looking for is only available (at least in
the 'v4.1.5', that I own) as 'RTAS' version solely, thus not as 'VST' !
I don't have downloaded this new 'v4.1.8', so I can't tell you if the 'RTAS' version is included within it...

what a shit, the plugin that i most wanted is not as vst avaiable

If memory serves me correctly, the speed plug-in is strictly for Pro Tools.

It's a shame they never asked a SoundToys owner what does and doesn't trigger the bomb.

Hint : You don't need to be connected ever to the net Eg: A non net machine purely used for audio will randomly trigger bombs, its an annoying bug but some SoundToys owners never hear the high pitched noise or drop outs, EchoBoy is the main offender.

SoundToys guys are certainly just as annoyed about such releases, otherwise they wouldn't put (or should I say waste?) as much precious development time into protection mechanisms instead of new or enhanced products.

I reverted back to Team AiR v4.1 sorry, I meant v4.0.1, after getting the dreaded NO AUDIO with release 4.1.6.

My heart was so broken that I dare not update again.

Those brave souls who have updated, I wish much luck, and ask for updates as to the progress of this crack.
