µTonic (pronounced "MicroTonic") is a VST / AU plug-in for Windows and Mac featuring a unique drum and percussion synthesizer combined with a pattern based drum-machine engine.

You can use µTonic as a sound module to play drum sounds from your MIDI keyboard or sequencer, or you can use the built-in pattern engine to play drum patterns in sync with your sequencer. The sound of µTonic is 100% synthetic and rendered in real-time. No samples or pre-rendered waveforms are used.

µTonic was created by Magnus Lidström. Magnus is known for his work with Propellerhead Software and XLN Audio. In particular, he was the brain behind the highly acclaimed Malström synthesizer introduced in Reason 2.0.

[EDIT] Nothing against R2R or their work. Shout outs to TEAM R2R, I am thankful for every release, working or not really working. I know how tricky XILS, UHE or SonicCharge protections are. I can't do better and I like them approaching more difficult protections, even if they don't succeed every time!

R2R is doing well so far and brought back the life to the scene.
The regularity and amount of releases in mind,
they do great and deserve big respect.

They don't have the time to check out the software
and play with it hours and hours.
Dev's know this and do their time bomb shit.

That's where we come in to report it and wait for a fix.
All with respect for each other...!

I'm sure a fix will be coming.

@Carface - sure good point, but then again the thing with teams not testing properly is, that other teams look at release lists and think - "ahh ok it's already done". But it's not working. So I hope R2R really reads this.

R2R is restarting where ASSiGN leaved, providing almost all real cracks.
All other teams don't crack, they are providers of samples,presets and such.

Nice job R2R !

Good luck finding the missing timebombs.
But even if you don't find them, i can still use other softs.
Something more is just something more : it is pure pleasure but not vital.

So in this release i found timebomb and the not ability to drag the midi pattern into the project. Besides the scrolldown-menus on midi preferences are empty.

so microtonic is the only non working sonic charge? thats why there isnt a mac version of it i guess, yet. they will release a macwin version i hope once they have figured it out

Look for the previously released patched version, and protect it with a firewall, at least you can reinstall if the "beware pirates" message occurs.
