Anyone noticed that, when u load a preset in ohmicide and use one (depends on which preset/bank) and then try to move from 100% wet to 100% dry signal, the CPU-consumption goes over 50% in Ableton (32bit vst-version of Ohmicide) on an "Intel E8400 CPU, Win7 Ultimate x64 bit"-Machine. Can anyone test it? I also tried it on the newer demo version of the plugin, downloaded from the ohmforce site.

you have the hidden command in your ableton options.txt file '-
ForceHyperThreading' ableton is a bit dumb to work alone with your CPU so you have to tell it ableton.
it helped for me :) no glitches, feels more stable all in all.

well i have all ohmforce plugs - but i use only ohmicide mainly.

@Articstorm : I dont understand wht you are saying. Hyperthreading? options.txt file?
Never heard of such thing on Ableton. I have Windows 7 System. If you can show me, i would appreciate it. Thnx.


Ok finally i found it. http://www.ableton.com/pages/faq/options_text . But no effect on me.
Try this. In Ableton Live create an FX group rack on an audio-channel. Then put 4 or more Ohmicide in it. Map the dry/wet buttons of all Ohmicide to one-same macro-controller. Load an Audio file loop it and while it runs try to adjust the macroknob from 100%wet down to 0%. Then look on the CPU-meter. I get til 200% although my taskmonitor shows me something different and i have extrme dropouts. I dont know where the problem is.

As this site is French and mainly written in French, here is the translation as accurate as possible :

CROSS & UPGRADES

Here are all the crossgrades and upgrades that you can benefit off after the licenses that are registered within your account :

Name Price
No crossgrade or upgrade is available for the registered licenses within your account
(The reason is quite simple as I don't have any registered Ohm Force licenses !)

Upgrades permit you to buy, at a reduced price, a license of Pack type under the condition that you already possess a license of Single type for this same product. The older license will be outdated because useless (you have better).

As to crossgrades, they permit you to buy, at a reduced price, a license of the 'Symptohm : Melohman' under the condition that you already possess a license of 'Symptohm : Melohman Performer Edition'.



My conclusion :

Either 'Ovalf' has previously bought versions that permit him to get new updates, but in this case it's a non sense to use 'cracked' versions of them ! (in my opinion)
Or 'Ovalf' is somewhat 'wizard' and is able to get new updates (without possess previous ones) and 'register' them with the help of old Team AiR KeyGens/Serials and a 'magic wand' !

Just a word about some available new versions :
The vast majority of the new versions available don't change too much from these available here (this Team AiR 'OhmForce ALL FX Bundle'). Some updates are still dated of 2009 (!) and in many cases the difference between, for example, a v1.51 and the new v1.52, is only for the RTAS Version. The Windows VST versions don't even have changed their number versions in the meanwhile (from 2008/2009 till now), EXCEPT the x64 Versions (both for PC & MAC OSX) that are the more recent versions (by the numbers).
So, Windows VST x86 (32bit) users really don't loose to much (in some cases, even nothing !) in using this Team AiR version...
