The drum samples on this compilation is not for the faint of heart, nor for the weak wristed. Joe Barresi has produced and worked as a sound engineer for a diverse group of hard-hitting rock and punk bands such as Judas Priest, Kyuss, Bad Religion, and Rancid. So he knows how to make it loud and proud. Enlisting the skin skills of Bobby Jazombek (Halford, Spastic Link) and MIDI trickery of Pat Wilson (Weezer, The Special Goodness), he recorded 70 gigs of the hardest hitting drum samples and MIDI grooves ever collected on a sample library.

Evil Drums sample library was recorded at his Barresi's favorite drum rooms on Neve consoles, with a Studer analog tape machines, and a secret blend of mic preamps, equalizers, and compressors. He captured the power of 6 full drum kits, 6 additional kicks, and 6 more snares some with as many as 250 velocity levels, so you know this has got some devilishly loud hits just dying to be used.

Let Joe Barresi's expertise as a man behind the consoles give your next project a sonic shot in the arm. In this case, Evil will make you say "Good God!"

This is for fxpansion's BFD. The other is for Superior Drummer.
I just installed this to a new folder in my "FXpansion Lib" main folder.
At first I named the new folder "PS-JB-Evil Drums", but it looks like it it expects a main BFD directory (I wasn't going to risk THAT). Instead of having drum kits in their own folders it looks like this hides them in a "Data" folder, and makes a "grooves" folder with JB.ED stuff in it, etc. All good: I renamed the folder to "BFD1" and just browsed to it with BFD 3 Library manager and it found it all. It even says "Upgrading" on the mixer channels the first time you load the 6 kits. It also shows up in "Libraries" as separate from the BFD3 library.
I guess I could name it "Platinum Samples" but I don't like long names.
I may try installing some other old stuff and see what it looks like after.
I did extract all the DVD ISOs and merged them into one folder for install and id not touch the BFD1 install or the Keygens. I zipped that up in case I need the keygens, but they look for expansions I don't have (maybe in the BFD1 install? I did not extract to look...).
Thanks Pirat & the rest!
