Correct, Tampermonkey is the proper extension. I'd use Violentmonkey, however; it works with most scripts, with a few exceptions, and is open source. Also, Tampermonkey is kinda annoying; it begs you for donations relatively frequently. Either should work, though.

What's your specific question about? That page is just an information page that shows once you update the extension. The extension is a userscript manager (userscripts alter the javascript and other elements of particular web pages, typically to the user's benefit).

If you're concerned about the warning in red, I'll explain. Essentially, installing a malicious userscript could run something like a password stealer in your browser. If you're installing a safe userscript, there's nothing to worry about. When you click "install" on a script, just skim over the code and make note of the websites it is enabled on to ensure that it's not doing more than it's supposed to.

I'm by no means a JS programmer, but it's pretty easy to identify malicious scripts. Rest assured, this one is safe.

Yeah it does, go to Tampermonkey toolbar,go to tampermonkey dashboard. go to utilities and import script using import from file. Then go to ableton.com, log in or create an account, go to try Ableton for free, now there are two options, one for stable and one for beta. Pick the beta version you want, latest is 122b18

Import from a Local File
In the Dashboard, click the "Utilities" tab at the top.

Scroll to "Import from file".

Click "Choose File", select your .user.js file from your system.

Click “Import”.

Review the script and click “Install”.

Enable the Script
Go back to the Dashboard.

Make sure the switch next to the script is ON (green).

No need to login or register.
