according to the website listing of the "bundle" - the "Space Age 555" is not listed. That must be an old list in the description cuz there are many that don't come up as available anymore according to the current website "all plugins" list.

Repeatable crash (for me): Deleight VST3, Ableton 12 Suite - On using the preset 'next' selector button at least once and as many as 10 (highest I've gotten anyway) focus is removed and no object within Ableton is interactable. Not specific to a preset or bank. Audio still works but recovery isn't possible. Only problem encountered so far.

Reproduced freeze and not crash, which I suspect is what you intended too (on Live 11 here.) It's an Audiority bug. You might try the CLAP module, as the difference in format could be the potential difference to work well.

Going by numbers as businesses often do for their advantage, it is unlikely they test against Live on a normal basis since they are more geared towards guitar. And Live is more geared towards well, Live - I don't want to say something wrong. heh heh

Aye, freeze is more accurate. And also Aye. got through all plugins and only Deleight is problematic. No bigggies. Just no clicky that one. And a further Aye, once I became aware of the 'hidden' powers within racks I could only look upon my once beloved Cubase with disgust (and my sidepiece Bitwig wouldn't stop crashing) - now I am a stranger in a strange land... Thanks for verifying and confirming my end assumption.

Doomagorgon v1.0 and Space Age 555 v1.0.2 are NOT installed at all!

Doomagorgon, from memory which used to be included in the .nfo but has now been removed, does not have a VST2 version as per Audiority. Space Age 555 was looked at very recently, so memory is for sure ok on this too: There is no VST2 as per Audiority, once again.

Install CLAP or VST3, then delete what you don't want of them, is the best suggestion.

This overall concept is the specific reason why CLAP has started to be included in releases, at and since Doomagorgon's initial release time - as you will notice it is the first of the current 9 CLAP modules included, from June 15, 2024.

Does anyone know if the Audiority's timebombs have been defeated?

There was never an issue to my awareness, from any team at any time, in past many years. I can't say for a very, very long time ago. Each module is specifically addressed, regarding this, as always.

However, there literally are no timebombs which I notice almost everybody gets confused on - even another great team! Timebombs are time related, and involve some sort of counter either in live action of the code, in static or dynamic files on the file system, or in a registry key (as in a time base start or whatnot, entry.)

What you might be referring to are audio dropouts or white noise, which is not time-related in that specific regard. While it may be true that a time counting mechanism is at work which may accompany such a model to keep track, it still is not triggered or enabled or activated by the concept of time - hence, not a timebomb. As stated, each module is specifically handled regarding this. Rock.

I might have the terminology wrong. I'm just wondering if anyone's figured out how to avoid these plugins from no longer being cracked a few months after being installed.

Well understood and of course, not a problem. I don't think it happens. If you can provide screenshots or other evidence, it would go a long way to fixing. But to reiterate, nothing needs to be fixed... unless.... ;) It's good.

I'm an Audiority fanatic, never had a timebomb nor white noise or anything else, at least from the Audiority's packages released in this home.

Perhaps by addin' the next lines to your hosts file could help a bit;

Cool! They make nice stuff - they're the same as PolyChrome DSP but I'm guessing you knew that already.

The mechanism (basically, the code I mean) which activates the demo noise or silence (forget which it is) is completely neutered, and cannot be activated in any way whatsoever other than altering the binary at play to its manufacured state.

Yup. I like a lot the *analog vibes* of several Audiority's VSTs, I'm in love with the Chorus Ensemble for my guitars,

Is it normal that the Chorus Ensemble generates noise even in Clean mode?
  Resident 15.11.2020 2 946

Chorus Ensemble requires to deeply observe your signal chain 'cause is intended to act as a very sensitive pre too, check your input level & the gains assigned to the rest of the chain in which you placed it.

It generates noise on its own, even without a source (= on an empty, unarmed track). It seems to be unaudible, but I accidentally inserted a high gain amp after the Chorus Ensemble and then the noise almost killed me.

P.S. The noise is present no matter how I set the preamp or the "vintage mode" (although the amount of noise varies, peaking from -75 dBFS to -98 dBFS).

Can't hear the same here, dunno what to say...
  Resident 28.09.2015 1 341

I'm not hearing it. I read the meters.

P.S. I have boosted the signal after Chorus Ensemble by a couple of dozen dB, so that I can see the noise on a spectrum analyzer. The noise is shaped (low mids are cut off, high mids are boosted), so I think the noise is not an artifact, but it is addes on purpose by the dev, e.g. for dithering/noise shapinf the outgoing signal. But I think there is too much of it and I cannot switch it off.

Did you tried to record something with a guitar and analyze it later?, take in count that this plugin tries to emulate a *wild analog condition*, is far away from any usually *digital perfection*.
  Resident 28.09.2015 1 341

I did some further observations: When I lower the level knob (gain), the noise lowers. So it is added at the input stage. Also, when I switch HQ (= oversampling), the noise also lowers by a few dB (which is understandable, as this process avarages values of consecutive samples, so the peaking values of the noise are "washed out").

I was afraid that the noise may be a symptom of a bad crack. But it seems to be added on purpose - otherwise it would be mixed in just at the final stage.

Impedance is your answer/fix. Low or Hi in the plugin - and you may or may not have issues going into your interface. You might also be seeing the noise floor of your interface's particular channels it is placed on, especially as it is amplified.

A quick and dirty test could be to place a noise gate -52 dB that clamps completely 100% before it, to see about how it reacts.

OMG, I have already stated clearly: It generates noise on its own, even without a source (= on an empty, unarmed track = with no audio signal at input). It has nothing to do with the interface. So your answer is completely off topic.

If u're so rude with someone that just wanna help 'cause a distraction or a missing point you just deserve a permanent tinnitus attack

1. I was not rude, just substantive. But wishing someone a disease - I think that is rude.

2. How giving an off topic answer (without reading the posts above) would be helpful to anyone?
