BasiQ2 is an update of our Baxandall Simple Equalizer, a free 3-band equalizer plugin. This simple and straightforward tone shaping tool is modeled after the style of a classic shelving Baxandall Equalizer, renowned for its slick slope and natural-sounding filter. We overhauled the whole engine, interface, and also added new features for this multi-purpose tone adjustment device.

BasiQ2’s straightforward controls allow you to add presence, clear the mids, or boost the bass as necessary. It is suitable for mixing and mastering purposes with its neutral and wide bandwidth where it’s more beneficial as a sweetening tool than as a surgical or corrective EQ.

I complained about the GUI when it was released, and my opinion hasn't changed, but for those that don't get distracted by a roar of color and camouflaged knobs, this is a solid tool. I own some Kuassa pedals, dig their amp/effects ecosystem, and overall like them as a company so honestly, my opinion is valid but it's also 100% subjective—I just work better with less-loud GUIs.

Solid job keeping up on some of the staples, LDVN—I always forget to check for updates from a lot of the companies you post up.... and in general
