Legendary TB-303 Inspired Synths + Drums!

2 303 Style synths.

Drum machine with several sample packs to select from. Each drum has pitch and volume control. Velocity can be set for each step.

Rebirth .RBS file import – Imports synth and drum machine patterns.

ABL 2 pattern file import – Imports synth patterns.

FX Units – 4 FX Units to select from, 2 can be added to each instrument. FX controls can now be adjusted.

Piano roll style editor for creating synth and drum patterns. Patterns can be shifted up, down, forwards and backwards from within the editor. Control 303 parameters like slide, accent, octave up and octave down from within the editor. Patterns can be 16 or 32 steps long.

Improved randomize functionality. Create random phrases with the ability to select the scale used.

MIDI controller support with learn function to link your midi controller knobs to the instruments.

Scalable vector user interface.

Is it voluntary or just an error?

Other problem: no plugins, only standalone.

Though, resuscitate Rebirth not a bad idea per se, if the sound is around the same level as the original...

And what I understand from the dev site, is that this thing is not a real synth, just a sample player, so haves very little interest for me. For now, I stick with Acid-V, TAL bassline and of course Roland Cloud TB-303.

There is a x64 Rebirth RB338 that works with Win 10 and Win 11.
It was released here on Audioz on 31.03.2018 @ 16:13.

It's a real one, from Proppelerheads and not a flimsy rip-off like this one.

There is no vst. It exist only as standalone. My friend bought for my request 32-bit version because on the developer site are 3 versions x86 win, x64 win & mac and every version cost 8 pounds + vat. There is no difference in that small portable program between 32-bit & 64-bit. But you can run 32-bit on older pc, on every pc and 64-bit version works only on x64 pc that's why I choose 32-bit. And I don't understand why x64 version exist, doesn't make sense to be honest

Thanks Daisy for your explaination, I understand better now: as you say, a 32 or 64-bit standalone app like this one makes no real difference function- and even sound-wise.

Though I think there is plenty of room for improvements - a plugin being only one of them - this project is still a little rough on the edges, but there is potential.

I have no problem using Rebirth RB338 as a plugin with Rewire.
