AI doesn't understand music in the way humans do; it merely analyzes data based on pre-programmed algorithms. It cannot listen to a jazz solo and rewrite the score. Even before AI, older MIDI programs struggled to produce clean and legible sheet music.

Furthermore, AI is unable to remove reverb from a music track. However, having witnessed numerous advancements, I believe things will continue to improve in the future.

That said, it's important not to expect miracles, as they simply don't exist.
I know young musicians who can play guitar and piano but struggle to read a complete score of a transcribed jazz solo, while they still dream of isolating a guitar solo to play along with, but even with the help of these tools, it remains a challenge.

I've noticed many mixers taking vocals from well-known artists and blending them into new songs with fresh arrangements from the current generation, all while considering their work to be the best out there. They often neglect to pay royalties. I've seen some of them facing lawsuits and being compelled to remove their music from the market and web due to copyright infringement.

Many artists and producers indeed sample or remix existing works, often leading to disputes over intellectual property rights. While some musicians successfully navigate these waters by obtaining the necessary licenses and permissions, others may not, resulting in legal consequences.

What I find particularly striking is how professional guitarists and pianist remove solos from renowned artists to just utilize the bass and drums, especially in jazz, such a tool.

LOL. When you believe you have a unique idea by isolating tracks from works that don't even belong to you to mix the best music... it seems that's a common mindset...

But, using AI my go-to project was when a friend opened a new restaurant and invited me to play the piano. I isolated the bass and drums from renowned artists like Beggie Adair, Oscar Peterson, and the jazz bassist Ron Carter, and then transferred the tracks to MIDI. The result was about 80% satisfactory. I loaded the MIDI files into a Roland MC-50 sequencer, which sent the data to a large mechanical bass guitar equipped with solenoids, allowing it to play autonomously. Additionally, I connected a drum kit with drumsticks to solenoids, creating a system that enabled everything to perform by itself based on the MIDI information. The outcome was a success. Although I only managed to create nine tracks, it made my night memorable. Importantly, all of this was done in the name of science and without infringing on copyright, as in my country, public performances require the collection of royalties beforehand. This has contributed to the evolution of music in new directions, as many great artists or their heirs are being overlooked. In the USA, major record labels have historically controlled the playlists of American radio stations.

It's disheartening that fewer than 7% of graduates from prestigious music schools around the globe ever get the opportunity to perform on stage and achieve a measure of success. The majority end up becoming teachers, which unfortunately contributes to a growing number of disillusioned individuals in the field, or some may turn into one of those YouTubers who scream and laugh like fools while commenting on music, films, jazz, and more.

Nevertheless, they greatly benefit from AI, particularly drummers and bassists, who now have a powerful resource to separate solos for copying, transcribing, and studying with time-stretch capabilities.
