The Lira•8 is a digital attempt at emulating SOMA Lab's Lyra-8 signal flow and sound.

The Lyra 8 is a Russian drone synthesizer with 8 tunable voices each, FM, dual delay, hyper LFO and distortion.

It makes it optimal for drones, ambient landscapes, outer space sounds, etc.

Instructions / Installation
Use midi notes from C1 to G1 to trigger the sensors or click on them to hold the note.

Use keys from 1 to 8 in the Pd standalone version to trigger the sensors.

i own the hardware of this, im actually working on some circuit bending / tweaks / additions currently. Really insane piece of gear, as with all of Soma's devices. While this is cool, the real beauty of Soma is the touch sensors, which is obviously hard to replicate in digital form. Still a fun little VST capable of weird sounds.

Wanted to say the same. There's no substitutions to something like Lyra in the terms of "feel". It's literally a meditation experience.

Wow. I don't know if the sounds used in this video have been processed or not, but they are really fat with a nice body on the low-end. I like it.

Loaded it in PlugData, UI shows and cpu load is around 5% but I'm not getting any sound.

thank for the upload. i used to play (and enjoy) with a friend's lyra, but couldn't afford it at the time. so maybe this vst could be a nice thing. unfortunelety i really don't understand hos to install it in ableton ; should i install PD or this camomille thing first ? i don't get it, i am such a noobs sometimes... would someone be patient enough explain it to me ? mac M2 sonoma
