I'm very intrigued to get this working on a Mac. Are there any installers available for Mac without downloading the software centre?

Or can I use CrossOver to install it as a VST3 and move all the necessary files and licenses generated by the keygen to Library/Application Support/Audio Modeling and the VST3 plugin folder?

The Keygen creates the Auth files in %APPDATA%\Audio Modeling
I suppose If you copy this files and put them on the Mac equivalent it should work.
The installers are easily availabla with their Softwre center.

For macOS users, the instrument setup .exe files will not install via CrossOver. I suspect that they need to exist before the keygen can do its thing. Manually creating %AppData%Audio Modeling% doesn't help. So the only way might be to install everything on a dedicated Windows device then grab the generated files from there to drop back into your Mac....I think.

EDIT: I was wrong -- see mauwurf's solution below!

i blocked it with little snitch.

watch a youtube Video how to block domains with Lulu or Little Snitch
but you need to block everything else from Audio Modelling.

You can also Write the necessary domains in your hosts file, if you familiar with that workaround.

if you prefer clean computer with no modified system files, use R2R. If you don't care at all, use V.R. it's not about performance, it's about security

Thanks TEAM R2R ! As I have thought someone needs to release them, so TEAM R2R will give us the right thing. :)

Regarding this V3 plugins, after testing and comparing some of them with V2 plugins, well, my personal opinion is that V2 have better and simpler GUI, more rich in sound. I don't like this reverb thing, because so far I have not found way to make the sound dry (its my preference) .


But anyways thanks for this gift I will use it for sure, but again v2 plugins are far better IMHO.

Already installed the V.R one, but still...
It's amazing that just a few days ago, only the previous 'virus' one existed and now both R2R and V.R dropped within days of each other. This is amazing.

And ambiente feels like something I might use a lot. Might be the Virtual Sound Stage 2 successor that I've been waiting for, who lnows

That ambiente (built into the instruments themselves not the independent one) is just driving me crazy. There is no f* way to completely shut it off, and your best chance to get a dry sound is to use the 'close room mic' which just still sounds shitty reverberant and counter-fighting any external reverb you try to use with. I'm moving back to older versions (where there was no ambiente) to keep my sanity. But thanks for sharing nonetheless
