Audio Modeling Ambiente v1.0.1 Incl Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 25 Nov 2024 | 17.3MB
Ambiente is Audio Modeling’s innovative Room Simulator that brings your virtual instruments and recorded tracks into the same immersive acoustic space. Available as a standalone app and plugin, Ambiente allows you to position any sound source—whether it’s SWAM instruments or other instruments—within a shared, realistic room environment. With its powerful ability to centralize control across multiple instances, Ambiente offers seamless integration and precise sound placement, making it easier than ever to create cohesive, organic mixes. Elevate your productions with true acoustic realism—Ambiente, giving you more space for your creativity.

ROOM TECHNOLOGY
Ambiente by Audio Modeling brings an advanced level of realism to your productions, allowing you to place any instrument—whether virtual or recorded—into the same virtual room. This revolutionary Room Simulator is more than just reverb or convolution; it’s a tool that calculates the geometric reflections of sound waves, ensuring that every sound source in your mix interacts naturally with the environment.

With Ambiente, you can record real instruments, such as solo strings or other acoustic performers, in small spaces—like your home studio or even a small room—without the need for large, professional recording spaces. Then, seamlessly blend them with your virtual instruments, including SWAM instruments, all within the same simulated acoustic space.

Control room size, choose absorption materials, and adjust microphone positioning to fine-tune the sonic environment. Whether you’re simulating the tight acoustics of a small recording studio or the reverberant expanse of a cathedral, Ambiente makes it easy to create a cohesive soundscape.

The power of Ambiente lies in its ability to communicate across multiple instances within your DAW. This allows you to manage all instruments or audio tracks in one centralized interface—ensuring that each element, virtual or real, sounds as though it was recorded in the same space.

With Ambiente, your strings, vocals, guitars, or any other audio sources will sound like they were recorded together, even if they were captured in different locations or with different tools. The result? A natural, organic blend that elevates your mix to the level of a real studio recording session.

FEATURES HIGHLIGHTS
Seamless Integration: Works as both a standalone app and a plugin for all major DAWs.
Multi-Room Simulation: Configure up to 3 customizable rooms and a Close Mic Room.
Centralized Control: Manage all instances in your session from one interface.
Realistic Acoustic Reflection: Go beyond reverb with geometric wave reflection for natural sound.
Cross-Instrument Communication: SWAM and non-SWAM instruments interact in the same space.
Three Intuitive Views: Room, Tech, and List modes for versatile control and accessibility.

what is "Modeling Software Center" i read in the r2r txt :

"[Setting]
If you don't have Audio Modeling Software Center installation, run "AMSC_Register.exe".
this tool generates 2 config files (XML) to
%PUBLIC%\Documents\Audio Modeling\Software Center\

If you want to customize more, do it your own risk.
"AM_CommonSettings.xml" has application settings.
"AM_Config.xml" has path settings.

is someone know ??

For some bizarre reason, it requires an internet connection to combine instances in a session, thus rendering it mostly useless for me.

Is this an inherent problem with the R2R version or is it also a recurring problem with the VR version?

is there a way around the problem, maybe someone has an idea... ??

I think it only requires that the daw is not blocked on the firewall, just like smartEQ, to be able to comnuicate between instance. But I'll check it

As mentioned by R2R these plugins require/use local network via winsock2 to communicate - not Internet.
Just make sure your NIC is enabled and it should be fine. But if you're worried, you can still have NIC enabled with Internet disabled.

Pro Tools users should do that. Or block " backend.audiomodeling.com " via hosts or firewall.

This is an interesting plugin. Initially I thought it may be identical to a convolution reverb simulation but it is not. It's definitely acoustically modelled. It could turn a live session in a studio to actually sounding like you were there in the room. The only issue if it is even that, is you'd have to use it on every track on an album for consistency.

I think this is only a management plugin without own DSP code. It just tells the other instrument instances, which room and which position in that room they should simulate/calculate the instrument into. So each plugin has romm DSP built in, but the room configuration GUI is outsourced to the common management plugin. As far as I see thatswhy you can not place foreign vendor VSTis into that room simulation and calculate the room simulation for that alien VSTis.

Could someone explain it please? I'm not in the know

Probably you need to run the keygen in a PC, virtual machine PC, WINE,....
Anything that allows you to run Windows exe's

IDK if there's something more than this, probably a network card/WiFi enabled in the PC
[2009] Sorry for my English. I'm working on it
[2017] I'm beginning to improve. Hell yeah, I'm a fast learner :D

Does anyone know if the software is surround compatible? There is nothing on the website and unfortunately the manual can only be downloaded with an account.

I checked the manual, it doesn't mention surround sound anywhere,
I don't think they support it.

Well, Evil Edna... Generally speaking, when one watches or listens to an orchestra, each instrument has its own typical respective place on stage and are panned accordingly in the stereo field in all recordings. If you're trying to experiment with 3D surround sound design, perhaps something like Halo Upmix or similar will get you what you need?

Thank you for your reply.
You basically describe my way of working: First I place the individual sound sources (5.0, stereo, mono) in the room and in the second step I "create" the room (Dolby Atmos). My question was whether Ambience is comparable to Vienna MIR 3D. If so, I could have saved the second step in the future. But that doesn't seem to be the case with Ambience. Thank you very much.

Ah right. So if I understand you correctly, you want to be able to place individual instruments in the field, dictate the shape/size/materials/ambience of the room, then split/upmix the output signal into surround sound instead of stereo?

Personally I've never bothered with surround sound, so I wouldn't be able to offer you any helpful suggestions. I guess if you already have a plug-in chain or system that works for you, then I'd stick with that. Happy composing (something we should all get back to, instead of constantly chasing all the latest updates to everything) :')

Huge "Thank You"s to R2R, DECiBELLE and supplier for all these SWAM releases!

Have you tried NovoNotes 3DX? It excels in 3D sonic placement. Maybe worth a look?

Not necessarily stereo. It's also about bed formats (5.0, 7.0) that will be extended to Dolby Atmos. But the speaker setup doesn't really matter: it's mainly about placing different audio sources in the same (acoustic) room.

Yes, I have occasionally used 3DX as an alternative surround panner. The strength of the plugin lies in ambisonics or binaural playback/production. The plug-in does not contain a "classic" reverb or room simulation effect. However, binaural is very rare in film and TV. That's why I mainly use it as an alternative 3D panner.
