This little patcher prevents Overloud Products from calling home.
It can patch Overloud Plugins in the VST2, VST3, AAX & Standalone format (32Bit & 64Bit, Win Only) .

Instructions:
1. Run the Patcher
2. Click on the 'patch' button and select the files you want to patch
3. Enjoy!


The patcher removes/replaces all the url's Overloud uses to call home in their binaries.
A better way would be to only patch the intermodular calls for connecting to the net
but this would require individual patches for every single plugin format & architecture.
This patcher patches more bytes but it works universal for every Overloud product.

Just ran this using crossover to try it on mac but it doesn't see the vsts.
Worth a try I guess.

Try this one.
It's the same patcher but with the file definitions removed.
It now should be able to patch any file, also mac binaries
(copied to a windows machine or via crossover).

Thats because I created the patcher with dUP2.26 (diablo2oo2's Universal Patcher).
It's patching engine gets flagged as "Win32.Riskware.Patcher" by Defender and some other Antivirus programs but that's a "false positive".

I've always wondered too why they don't vaccine this. Because Overloud has been doing this "call home" thing for a few years now.

MicroSHAFT is the reason why they are able to do this, this can be easily finished by 1 simple Microsoft update to Windows by refusing all applications Wininet access unless the admin authorizes it. This would eliminate a lot of these sneaky call home functions, but the main reason why let it open is due to Internet Browsers, if they closed it the Anti Trust zealots would be all over this move. Yet this is exactly how Apple is moving ahead with MacOS.

I got the messages but I got like 100 of those and I was too lazy to effort hours for responding... so I finally decided to make this post.

I still hope R2R will add their wininet emu to the keygen releases - they already did that with their ilok protected overloud slate release. It's just 3 additional bytes to patch.
