I just read in the comments on Pitch Innovation's Youtube channel that a minor update is coming soon:

”I may be missing something. I want the ability to select patterns with the Key Switch. (Pattern 1/2/3/4/5, User Pattern, Arp Engine Mode Select)”

At first I fully supported and bought plugins by Pitch Innovations but they really mistreat loyal customers and are also sometimes downright arrogant and rude…

So now I prefer the witches' versions!

Looks useful but I wish they wouldn't pad these things out with a mountain of useless samples. Developer dude -- we've all got our own samples, We don't need your cheesy choices. Just give us the engine and let us add our own samples!

They do it because MIDI VSTs can be confusing for newbies to use. You need to know how to connect them up in your particular DAW, often having to add a second track to hold the target instrument and then fiddle around in the track settings. So having some built-in sounds saves them a whole shedload of support requests!

However, I agree that there should be an option to not install the internal instruments. I would expect you to be able to just manually delete the sample folders for instruments you don't want. Maybe leave the default instrument there so the plugin does not get upset.

With all Pitch Innovation products I have the same problem: My Studio One is blocking them. Has anybody made the same experience? Any solutions available? thanks

Has anyone got this working?
I've tried it in Studio One, Reason and Cubase.
That's with the VST3 on WIndows. I haven't tried VST2 or standalone.

Update. I got this working by installing the legit demo version and then unlocking it with the R2R keygen. Not how I normally like to do things but it seems to have worked.

Shame it doesn't just do default midi routing like Scaler or similar.
But kind of cool. It'll load a VST no problem, but good luck changing preset, once closed.

It ships with two different flavours of plugin - a normal version and a MidiFx (MFX) verison. He says that the latter only works in Cubase but it is fine in Studio One (and presumably other DAWs) and works like Scaler etc in that it puts out MIDI that you can use as input to another track. Not sure why he made two versions but there you go.

Apologies, but for me this has one executable
Which offers VST3, VST2, and AAX. No other options besides that.
It also came packaged with separate BMIDI_Driver_2.1.0.44.exe
Which I can only presume is some sort of midi-bridge I don't want.

Honestly is there really no way to route midi output for Ableton? I get you can load vst but i do not want to do that.

I had the same problem. Install the VST2 version, that one loads perfectly on ableton. The vst3 doesn't work for me.

After working with this in Ableton, I can confirm two things (VST3):
1. Sending MIDI to another track doesn't produce sound
2. Using plugins as an internal sound source causes Ableton to freeze.

VST2 doesn't freeze. But still can't send MIDI to another track.

Hopefully these issues will be fixed for the next update. This is the first version so

This happens on many diff brands. It seems devs doesn't know yet how to make a VST3 fully working on their 1st release these days. Always a beta test

I guess to each his own, but I tried this out and I feel like i can make better arpeggiations without this plugin. Maybe I just need more time with it, I dunno.

Either way, big thanks to R2R and DECiBELLE for allowing me to try this out!

it works but doesnt SCAN VST folders.
instead we have to add every single VSTi manuell ......
Why did they release this without a VSTi "scan VST folder" option???

or has anyone found a way to add like 50 VSTi Instruments in one batch?

And WHY did they put the samples in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Factory When they also have a "Pitch Innovations" folder there with the other plugin s' subfolders.
Just sloppy?

I am confused by the interface. The notes do not seem to trigger in order or seeming pitch.
In the video, the "MIDI IN" and the "eternal arps: OUT" make sense to me but the moving patterns in the GUI of the plugin makes no sense to me at all.
