Tracking and Mixing console equalizer!
PSP Datamix A567 models an equalizer module from the classic first-generation Datamix console. Officially approved and endorsed by Eddie Kramer - who recorded legendary bands such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, KISS, and more on the original Datamix consoles during the golden era of The Record Plant and Electric Lady studios - the plug-in captures the essence of that iconic sound. Give it a try!

The equalizer is designed in such a way that it almost never sounds β€œneutral” – just putting it on a track as is, with all bands in the β€œ0” positions, is enough to make you love it or hate it. Even with all bands turned off, there is still plenty of sonic character coming from the preamp and output sections. PSP Datamix A567 is a great way to add some old school mojo and character to any track or mix.

Few months old but I'm also fond of this so far, which is VERY rare for me for an EQ.
The curves this EQ generates are so unique yet sound great on the right material. Imo this is great for heightening sonority, or mid-tone resonances, without making them harsh as the internal saturation does a great job at dampening the filters peak resonance.
I'm not sure how I feel about the "box tone", I definitely believe they could correct for this without ruining the behavior. The "Sharp" switch also doesn't have intuitive behavior, some bands become LESS sharp, the high band does though.
I think Pulsar's Poseidon does this similar concept better, though the curves on this are definitely unique. I might keep it.
