I hate to complain since I do actually really like iZotope products despite my dislike of the overall direction they're heading (A.I., taking the "fun" out of mixing imo) but I really hate the soft clipper increasing the gain based on the knee. It's the stupid shit that standardclip does and it's the literal definition of "louder = better"
Otherwise it still doesn't implement ADAA antialiasing like apShaper so it's outclassed as a soft clipper regardless.

Otherwise, phase nice utility, although common, and this one isn't multiband for some reason. Density seems to use proper FIR lookahead smoothing at large amounts for smooth upwards compression but I don't really like overloudening my tracks so probably not very useful for me.

They didn't remove the other great modules (i.e. the transient shaper) so it's still useful in my book.

Well, the AI is just a button, you can chose to note use it. Personally I think it's pretty cool! Hope more companies do the same.

That's funny. Clearly, you know nothing about me. I can assure you, no matter how much you complain about AI in the industry, there's nothing you can do about it. You have the choice to ignore it, use it to improve your workflow (yes, even with AI, it takes knowledge to know what you're doing), or just keep complaining. For example, in Ozone, after hitting the "assistant" button, you can see the changes it made in the chain and adjust them as you want. Sonible Smart EQ 4 is another great example of a good use of the "assistant" button; it gives you an idea of what to change or not. I think it's pretty cool. :)

V.R can literally do anything, refx/izotope old avenger I think, vanguard, very impressive, although I hear this little voice on my head saying "I hope that's not too hurtful over the dev though" they could get some time to earn isn't it?
