Little EQ is an equalizer plugin that brings to life the sound of a passive filter and an output transformer.

I'm aiming to create an equalizer that's as clean as possible. My goal is to achieve a bright, in-your-face sound that still has a touch of body. I want to keep it simple and user-friendly, so I can easily shape the tunes while working on songs for my project.

I used neural networks to capture the sound of a homemade passive filter, which some people call "mojo." Then I applied various functions using DSP. To balance the sound of this equalizer, I further simulated the saturation of an EI96 output transformer.

To install put zip content into "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3."

It boosts extra highs around Niquist by default.
Bad type of gimmick to amaze the user.

Test it with PD. It is NOT transparent at all. Step resononse is more like Acustica (mess), GUI is odd, "presets" are strange.

If you want some good FREE EQ - better take a look on ZL EQualizer.

I've seen newer developers over the years screw up a lot of stuff in the high-end near there, more as a result of trying to compensate or "fix" things than to instill some "gimmick." Maybe he did do it purposefully though, but like I mentioned in another comment below, it seems like a heavy take on this. I know everybody loves to jump on this negative bandwagon, but breath—it's a free plugin; you lose nothing in all this.
Incidentally, I like ZL in theory, but it straight crashes multiple different hosts that are stable as hell even with many experimental builds, on both Win7 and Win10.

I use, bright/body/life/etc. when talking about audio, and if it's a Metal cut, there's a chance that "in your face" is gonna be out there, and my YT presence is low, and certainly no uploads of audio crap, gawd-knows there's enough already.
I agree with you on the conflicting transparent/mojo bit, but I attributed that to either a lite grasp on the language or a brain misfire since... well, it's free. Seems weird he'd try and bamboozle you for your zero dollars.
Seems like a heavy hot-take. And in fairness, most people are fools.

I understand what you mean, and I very often test free stuff because you can find gems.
But the presentation text and GUI obv has to hook me up, and it didnt this time...

thats all, and wish all the best to the developer

but I will come back to read feedbacks and I maybe change idea then test it
