If they were focusing on bugfixes, then the new version should be something like 7.xx, not Kontakt 8. It's obvious that they make Kontakt 8 to create new libraries that only work in Kontakt 8 so people have to buy K8 if they want to use newer libraries.

How can I completely remove a library? I delete the whole file with samples etc and I delete two registerkeys. Still this old library pops up on the front page? What else do I need to delete to completely delete a deleted library?

For years i ve been a fan of R2R...i still am..on my setup i never experienced any trouble..however..using non official libraries,they show up on kontakt without an image...for this reason i started to use Bob Dule version..easy to add a wallpaper which then shows up in kontakt....i ve the portable version also..it also works flawless and easy to organise your librarys.

Overall...the 3 of them are nice and stable versions

Something's not right. I followed the instructions which are- disconnect from internet, install, and run Keygen. I get the message in the keygen that says Successfully Registered, but then when I open Kontakt, it's in demo mode, and wants me to buy or activate it. Are there any steps that aren't in the instructions?

usualy the patcher does that..i assume one clicks ..yes...when installer asks for it.
people should learn how to use cr...ed software and read nfo .

P.S.

Keygen doesn't appear to work. Used it without internet but when running in standalone it asks to register. I put the Native Access file where it should be too.

Tried keygen in safe mode. When starting Kontakt the activate screen didn't come back on but not a single library is activated. Seems keygen is the problem.
