PSP Datamix A567 models an equalizer module from the classic first-generation Datamix console. Officially approved and endorsed by Eddie Kramer - who recorded legendary bands such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, KISS, and more on the original Datamix consoles during the golden era of The Record Plant and Electric Lady studios - the plug-in captures the essence of that iconic sound. The equalizer is designed in such a way that it almost never sounds β€œneutral” – just putting it on a track as is, with all bands in the β€œ0” positions, is enough to make you love it or hate it. Even with all bands turned off, there is still plenty of sonic character coming from the preamp and output sections. PSP Datamix A567 is a great way to add some old school mojo and character to any track or mix.

If you're testing in Reaper :

Preference > Plug-ins > VST > Re-scan >

Select the plugin in "Plug-ins that failed to scan" list.

It will show up.

Other DAWs probably needs to remove it from the Blacklist first if you have installed the previous release.

Reaper is so compatible that I've never had to rescan a failed plugin... or it's just that I'm permamently stuck with the ampsims

It's a fun plugin. Sounds really vintage, and it has a nice sound, very analog sounding BTW. PSP did a good job, although i don't know if i'm going to buy since the CPU is kinda heavy for a 3 band eq. I believe that it has quality processing on the background because it sounds convincing, but i don't know if i myself can find especific usage for this one in trade of processing power. Thanks R2R for the fast repack and for giving us the chance of trying this one

PSP Audioware are extremely underrated for analog modelling, though i am not sure why, as they have been around longer than most. this is far too coloured for my needs, but it does sound pretty good

goto scan plugins and hold shift (or was it string ?) while scanning. it wil scan all your plugins again.
it should show up.

This is now working in Bitwig v5.2.4 (thank you)

Any Bitwiggers who installed yesterdays release needs to uninstall the plugin and install todays REPACK version

To get the VST3 version to show in Bitwig

SETTINGS / PLUGINS / Show plug-in errors ( button at the bottoms of the plugins list)

Click Re-Scan next to the entry PSP Datamix A567, it should disappear from the list

Close Bitwig

Open Bitwig and it should automatically scan for new plugins search for PSP Datamix A567 and the VST3 version should now appear.
