I keep getting the error message "Cannot load SoundSource "LA Custom C7 Release" because Directory "Keyscape Library" not found".
Any idea how to fix this?

Do you have installed this in "C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\" (Win), or «Users/Username/Library/Application \Support/Spectrasonics/STEAM» (MacOS)?

Tried it, and now it says it's "not a valid STEAM folder".

Once you have the big Keyscape library uncompressed, which has to be placed this way...;

C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM\Keyscape (isn't necessary to use an/the installer) It is suggested to add all permissions to "everyone" to the whole Spectrasonics folder (right click on Spectrasonics folder---Properties---Security---Edit----> select "everyone" & click all fileds, apply & ok).

After that execute Keyscape & click on the refresh button located below the Keyscape's browser.

I've changed the permissions of the folder, still no change.
And I did uncompress the .rar files, if that's what you're saying. I couldn't have moved the STEAM folder otherwise.

Do you have installed Spectrasonics Keyscape v1.5.0c?, I mean, main Keyscape software should be v1.5.0c. If you haven't already installed I would recommend to uninstall Keyscape (do not touch the library) & later install in this order;

*Spectrasonics Keyscape v1.5.0c
*Keyscape Soundsource Library Update v1.5.1c
*Keyscape Patch Library Update v1.6.1c (this page's release)

About the 2º step, you don't need to use the installer, just drag & drop the STEAM folder located inside "\Data\Full" over your STEAM folder & replace when prompted.

After that execute Keyscape & click on the refresh button located below the Keyscape's browser.

I'm also going to reinstall Omnisphere (this release: https://audioz.download/software/248356-download_spectrasonics-omnisphere-v286c-u2b-mac-moria.html) because even after uninstalling Keyscape it wasn't working.
I really wish these releases would list what prior releases are needed for them to work. It's very confusing.
I'll let you know how well it goes.

U'r right, at the beggining could turn into a nightmare, I've lived it as one too. Now I know that this jewel synth goes smoothly & works flawlesly intalling this way;

*To place the big STEAM folder where it has to be..., or to place it anywhere (if main disc has not enough space), make a STEAM alias & place it inside;

/Users/username/Library/Application \Support/Spectrasonics/

This Spectrasonics folder must be created if doesn't exists already. Get info of Spectrasonics & add read & write permissions to everyone. Those permissions attributes will be assigned to the inner files of the STEAM folder directly, or through the alias if u've placed it in a different location. If you already have the library inside your machine's environment you don't need to delete or move the library in case of a re-install process.

*Install last main soft of Omnisphere, Keyscape, Stylus RMX, Trillian.

*Drag & drop the "Soundsource Library Updates" (if were released), & replace those updated elements when prompted to.

*Install the last "Patch Library Updates".

That's all.

Take in count the proper inner structure of the Spectrasonics folder & sub-folders (this example just points to Keyscape & Omnisphere...);

Hundreds of problems about Spectrasonics are related to our "customized structure ways" (I use to be one of those guys...), the problem is that this synths has a necessary strict order 'cause the resources are highly shared. For example, if you just want to install the "Nylon Sky" Sonic Extension it wont sound unless you install Omnisphere, & the structure must be as Spectrasonic says it has to be, there's no other way. If space disc is a problem, so hardlinks or alias can solve it placing those monsters in other drives.

Wound up downloading the library from another site. The uploads of Keyscape here are a total mess.
