I appreciate the share but they still have a long way to go on this plug-in. It's lacking quite a few things that are standard with other similar plug-ins.

The samples in the factory content aren't anything special either.

The fact that it's mandatory for you to have the factory content in order to use the plug-in is something I just can't let go of.

Well I got it working but after being spoiled by Atlas landing each sample has become super tedious.

I haven't found a way to save a directory to my samples.

Is all functionality locked without the factory content? You can't load in your own samples and use it that way?

I was assuming without the factory content I would just have a bunch of dead no-load presets I could ignore, and just always load in my own samples one at a time and take it from there. This isn't the case?

I just tested it in a sandbox twice and it seems to work fine without any content installed.

Only got what I was halfway expecting, a "you don't have a library installed" kind of message. I just clicked through that stuff and was able to drag and drop my samples into each drum channel fine and everything seems to work.

I also tested again in a 2nd sandbox instance,, this time installing the demo content DL'd from their website, and it also seems to work fine this way. This time I get a message saying "demo content installed, install factory content for full library" or something like that. This time I had access to the demo presets and sounds, but also could just drag and drop my own samples from my personal libraries just fine into the plug-in and everything seems to work.

Seems to be working fine then? I think the caveat with this release is that you just pretty much need to ignore the presets and treat it like a naked sampler/sequencer that you have to drag and drop your own samples into from your preferred external browser. Save things as a DAW preset and not a Triaz preset.

Will test on my actual machine now. I wasn't able to test save/recall in the sanboxes because I was only running a demomode version of Bitwig because it's the only small-ish DAW install I had handy (you can't save sessions in pure unregistered demo mode but can still run the DAW.)

Anyways, let me know if there is something I'm missing here? Seems to work so far, at least in the sandboxes. Really I was only interested in trying this out because I am still looking for a nice and quick step drum sequencer for samples similar to Geist. I need another 3gigs of random samples like I need a hole in my head, so if it truly couldn't run without the factory library that would absolutely deter me from buying this even if I ended up liking it otherwise. I want to buy the software, not the samples.

OK, I finally got it working without the factory content but having to drag and drop every sample is tedious.

There's no bank or directory saving that I can see.

I use XO to search for samples. Little known fact is unlike Atlas, in XO you can hold down ctrl+drag a sample straight from the galaxy view into your DAW, or in this case straight into a Triaz sample slot. So I always just keep a dummy XO open on a second monitor as a sample browser. Or if you are the word search type just use a regular good sample browser like ADSR and you can search for and drag and drop samples from there.

Glad to see you got it up and running. I think I'm actually going to buy Triaz as I really do like it's sequencer and how everything can be sequenced in the motion lanes with a right click from the sounds panel. I'm 100% NOT installing the factory content tho, I do not need another 3GB of random shit and the same 808/909 sounds haha. If it turned out you couldn't run Triaz without installing that 3GB library I would most likely not entertain buying it.

not so fast frunckenstein i do this with atlas, i drag stuff from atlas in to ableton stock drum rack except you dont hold ctrl you just drag from atlas to destination

I still can't figure out how to avoid the deactivation after reboot computer. my PC is under version windows11 23h2, pretty new system package.does somebody have same problem of deactivation, how to solve it?
